Prophecy for Sarah Palin

Strang Report
by Steve Strang
If you're like me, you'll be glued to the television tonight to watch the first vice- presidential debate, which is being held at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. The 90-minute debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden will begin at 9 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on all major television networks.
I've publicly endorsed Sen. John McCain and Sarah Palin, so you know for whom I will be rooting. I've reported in the Strang Report how unfair the media has been to Gov. Palin, even ridiculing her Pentecostal background. Now we've learned that tonight's moderator, Gwen Ifill of PBS, has written a pro-Obama book. So much for objectivity.
This is a call to pray for Sarah Palin. Read the incredible prophecy quoted below that is going around the Internet. At the end I tell about attending a huge Palin rally in Florida 10 days ago. Below, read about an important new book we just published by Perry Stone.
Pastor Mark Arnold in Lebanon, Ohio, wrote this true account. He first sent it out to a small handful of friends and relatives, never dreaming that, thanks to e-mail, it would travel around the world. As of today, he's heard back from 50 states, 36 nations, and several major Christian ministries and news networks, and he has received more than 11,800 e-mails.
When Arnold was asked what he felt the value was in letting this story go public, he said he is seeing people moved and coming out of the “caves” they've been in, coming alive and realizing that they need to get involved in the affairs of the nation and not sleep through this season as the church did when believers allowed prayer to be removed from schools.
Pastor Mark Arnold of Lebanon, Ohio, writes:
On Sept. 9, the McCain/Palin bus came through a little town called Lebanon, Ohio. The Lord allowed me to go to the rally [to give McCain and Palin] a message that He wanted me to personally deliver.
Sunday Night: A burden hit me that would only shake me to my knees--I prayed and wept for our nation. Never has my heart been so broken before God. I literally interceded for these wonderful people who do not deserve all the hate against them. The God-haters are going to try everything to stop them, but they will not succeed!
God is not pleased with the “bashing” in the news of this “anointed” person [Sarah Palin]. He has called her for this time! I promised God that I would pray and hold them up in prayer. I would “listen” out and be mindful of where they were. The following day is important in this time line ... because I didn't even know until God spoke to me.
Monday and into Monday night: The burden of prayer was so heavy that I was literally shaking and could not stop weeping. I didn't know that they were coming to Ohio. I prayed and walked and wept and walked. I prayed and prayed and wept and prayed.
Tuesday at 2:00 a.m.: God spoke these words to me: “Go turn the radio on!” Immediately the reporter's words were, “McCain & Palin bus to be in Lebanon later this morning for a 10:00 a.m. rally!”
Immediately on hearing that news, I heard God again. God said, “You are to go. You will meet them and give them a message for Me!”
I prayed as an intercessor and went to a place in prayer that I don't think I've ever been … because the Lord had just visited me … and I knew I was on a “mission.” I had now been up since Sunday night … and now it's Tuesday and I've got to go on the “Word of the Lord.” He sure became my strength as this unfolds.
I didn't stop praying until I drove over to the town and parked the car. The news would later report they were expecting 5,000 people, [but] the actual head-count of those who had been scanned was more than 10,000 people.
I simply obeyed … and God actually told me where to stand, who to talk to … and when to be on the move. I had sure learned on the mission field, when God wants to open a door, He will do it at the appropriate time. He always has someone to assist … and even those standing beside you may just be an angel.
I struck up a conversation with an agent on the ground. He simply said, “I can't allow you to stand here!” Here is where the bus was going to actually pull up to. They had to make a much larger perimeter, so the entire area was now being moved back several blocks. The only other thing he told me to do was to go through the metal detector zone and just watch from the back. So, that's what I did.
Due to [the] sensitivity of the Internet, I can't share much of the story. As to what happened next, [it] was a definite God thing all the way.
Looking over the shoulders and backs and heads of all those people … I knew it would take a miracle for what God told me to do.
As I was standing there, two Boy Scouts came running up my back. Literally, they almost knocked me to the ground because they were running so fast behind me, up my back and over to the right. These Boy Scouts were about Junior High age. Their Scout Leader and several others were behind them, but as the two out front [were] trying to push through the crowd, saying they were late, the smaller scouts were left in their dust. The Scout Leader, who was with a McCain rep. from the State, grabbed me and told me [to] bring the other Scouts up front as they try to keep up with the first two that just came through.
I just became the leader of the rest of the Scouts to lead them right up front and center. As the rep. was shouting back at me to bring the Scouts forward, the people parted just like God parted the Red Sea.
I marched those boys right up front and to the right of the stage as one was looking from the back. When I got there I was fifteen feet from the podium. God said, “Stand here, and don't move from this spot.”
Within five minutes the bus pulled up, and around the other side McCain, Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, stepped up and the speeches took off. I was where God placed me … and even Sarah Palin and Todd were standing on my side of the stage. I made eye contact, I gave them thumbs-up gestures … and I knew they were just happy to see me standing there. Ha ha.
When they came around the podium and started on the other side, I knew they were coming right toward me. A little lady who stood by me, reached up and told the rep. that they had promised a picture with her because she was the one who had lost a son in Iraq recently. The rep. confirmed she would get a pic with them and they would talk to her.
When McCain came to hug her … he immediately shook my hand and following his moment with her, I shook his hand as he grabbed my hand, now for the second time, and I said, “God wants you to know that I'm praying for you, Sir!” He thanked me and kept smiling. I repeated that phrase to him five times. He grabbed my hands and looked right into my eyes and said, “I won't make it without prayer. Sir, thank you for praying for me, and don't let one day go by that you don't pray for me. I need all the prayers that I can get. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
As he moved to my right, Sarah Palin came over to my left side … standing over the crowd and then looking at the little lady who had lost the son. It took a moment for her to shake some hands and people were pushing in all around. Sarah came and got on her hands and knees on that side of the stage and hugged that little mom, telling her, “It was not in vain.” She promised her support.
It was at this moment Sarah Palin reached out for me to help her up, and as I was assisting her to stand, I was now face-to-face with her, and God said, “Open up your mouth and I will fill it.”
Here is what came out:
“God wants you to know that you are a present-day Esther!”
[She immediately began to cry!]
“God wants to tell you that you are chosen for such a time as this!”
“You are called, and chosen to be a leader.”
“Don't lose heart and don't fear man.”
“The news and naysayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you … and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat … but do not fear.”
“You are a present-day Esther.” You are an Esther. You are an Esther!
“Keep your eyes on God and know that He has chosen you to reign!”
“Stay strong ... be strong ... don't tire. Don't be weary in well-doing. Be strong.”
Her husband, Todd, came over, and I told him what I told her. He began to cry.
I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time … and know that “she is God-called and God-anointed.”
“This is a God-thing and your wife is a present-day Esther ... she is for God to use at this time ... she is an Esther ... she is an Esther ... she is an Esther.”
“You will be hated … but stand strong … God has called both of you to stand!”
“We are praying and I am praying for you!”
At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd, and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin.
“Mr. McCain … they are called of God and she is an Esther.”
“Don't lose hope and don't lose heart.”
“We are praying for all of you!”
He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said, “Thank you for your prayers and support ... I really do mean that!”
And he turned and shook more hands … and I watched them as they went through the crowd.
When I got to my car I sat there for quite a long time … knowing the God of the universe had just used me to deliver a message confirming to Sarah and Todd to realize they are truly chosen vessels of God.
I wept. I have not stopped praying and crying. My heart is full knowing they had to have all the staging and all the hype and all the crowd … but the God of heaven and earth … wanted to give them a divine God-appointment!
To God be all the glory and honor.
If anyone wants to know if I believe God can speak. Yes … absolutely, is my answer!
Be praying for me … and let me know what you think about all of this.

My own experience of hearing Gov. Palin speak at The Villages about 80 miles north of my home near Orlando on Sept. 21 was not nearly as dramatic. It was a hot Sunday afternoon, and we went two hours early and waited in the heat for Palin to come. Estimates of the crowd range from 30,000 to 60,000. It was impossible to know for certain how many were there because it was in a “town center” area, and people were up and down the streets in all directions.
I was able to get near only a large-screen TV, not the stage, and my wife and I settled down in our portable chairs to watch. The crowd was so thick you couldn't move around to look for a better place. From our vantage point you couldn't even see the stage, and we never saw Sarah Palin or her family except on the large screen. But it was interesting to see the level of excitement for her candidacy.
Now it will be interesting to see how the debate goes tonight. Be sure to add your thoughts in the blog below.

Dear Friend,
Reading, understanding and practicing the message in this book could add years to your life.
There is a way to experience life changing intimacy with God and receive emotional, spiritual and physical healing at the same time: by understanding and receiving Communion in your home on a daily basis. The first revelation of the power of the blood and body of the lamb was revealed in the homes of the ancient Hebrews in Egypt (Exodus 12). The First Century Church met in homes, “breaking bread from house to house” (Acts 2:46). As documented in my book, The Meal That Heals, the breaking of bread was actually the celebration of the Eucharist or the Lord’s Supper. The early believers knew the power of Communion and celebrated it daily.
In The Meal That Heals, I will lead the reader on a fascinating spiritual journey into the church’s most blessed sacrament. Biblical and historical evidence that God has a covenant of healing for his people today, covering:
• The secrets of the believer’s priesthood and the Hebraic mysteries linked to the crucifixion
• The mystery of the manna and breaking bread from house to house
• How the First Century Church celebrated Communion and who removed the daily tradition
• Seven covenants that bring seven blessings to your life
• The difference between a Catholic Mass and a Protestant Communion
• The greatest hindrance to receiving your healing and how to remove it
• How receiving daily Communion could extend your life and bring healing to your body, soul and spirit
• How to build a family altar at home as a place of study, worship and Communion with God
• The importance of not dying before your appointed time
At the conclusion of each chapter we have included a special question and answer section that is excellent for a home or church Bible study. We have also included a feature color photo section which includes a photo of the Biblical description of the manna that fell in the wilderness!
In this book I will document how the concept of receiving daily Communion in your home is a restoration of a dynamic truth practiced by the first century believers as they understood the concept of the “priesthood of the believers” (Rev.1:6). In this book I endeavor to restore a lost truth that can bring wholeness to this generation.

Yes, I believe Sara is an Ester. When McCain announced her as his running mate. The Spirit of the Lord leaped in me that this was the missing link in the presidential canadiates.

God spoke to me as well when McCain announced her and I cried and tonight I cried at your Spirit Filled Experience. I'm somewhat of a weeping Prophet they will win and may turn many hearts back to God. I think McCain will have a new or renewal Spiritual experience from this and wil become bold and lead America along with Sarah back to good government and common sense. PTL

Funny, I was thinking that today, that God hand picked her for this huge assignment, have been and will be praying for her. When I first saw her, that night McCain introduced her, I thought, what a breath of fresh air!

My heart leapt in me when Sarah Palin was announced as McCain's running mate. This is the first election I've ever been interested in because I see the hand of God all over it. I have been interceding for her since day one, and I want them to win not because they're members of my party, but because I believe God will get the Glory out of this. I also believe that the economy of God, i.e., Kingdom principals, are getting ready to be loosed on our land for one final 'hurrah' before the coming of the Lord. Yes, I think this election is that important!
To God be the Glory! Thank you, Mr. Strang, for sharing this with us, and for being courageous enough to publicly endorse a candidate who has the enemy shaking in his boots!

When McCain chose Sarah Palin and I heard she was a Christian, all I could do was praise God. He had heard and responded to the cries and prayers of His people. I've been praying for her ever since, that God would direct her answers, that God would thwart the attacks of the evil one, that God would place His hands of protection around Sarah and her family...and that God would allow this woman of God to be victorious! Praise His holy name!

I vaguely recall a conversation with some people who had attended a Kim Clement conference last summer or the summer before. They stated that he said that the president elected in this years election would become born again and I believe they said spirit filled during office. After what we know about Sarah Palin I'd say it's all coming to pass. This is one election believers need to get out and vote to bring God back into our nation. I'm not sure how others fill but there is such a heavy, depressive spirit attacking all of us and it's just like the enemy to bombard us with his hellish attacks when he knows he is loosing, especially in the election. God's blessing and protection on the McCain/Palin families.

Bro. Steve, Thank you very much for sharing this. That's great to hear about. I know that I am also in total and complete agreement with this, too. It just confirms even more and bears witness with my spirit, as well, with how God also picked her and spoke this to my spirit-man too, even while I first saw Mr John McCain introducing her as his pick. At that moment, I felt such a supernatural warmth of peace and compassionate love overwhelm me, and my spirit man began to leap within me with rejoicing, that I just knew at that very moment, that it was and truly is, also Gods anointed pick, too. Yes, just like Esther, for a time such as this ! It also brought tears to my eyes, Thank You, Jesus ! Praise God ! Yes, it is certain that God can and will and still does - use anyone that becomes a humble and willing vessel for God and His service, for His kingdom and for His glory. It is truly time for the saints of God to arise and to shine! To God be the glory forever and ever ! Let's all continue to pray and intercede for our nation and its leadership and to go forward with God and His own leadership choice. Our God is truly an awesome God ! God bless you Bro Steve in all that you do ...and God bless those that read this, too.

We had a call for prayer here in Nashville that mentioned Palin and Deborah. I went to Judges and read the story to refresh my memory. I've since prayed that Gov. Sarah Palin would be like a Deborah, a Jael, an Esther...that the Spirit of God will rise up within her, that she and her family will be kept safe, and that Christians around the world will pray, pray, and pray some more. Thank you for calling us together tonight.

Steve, there was a time I really thought you were genuine, but your article where you kept using Obama's middle name over and over again, and now trying to say that the questions to be asked are not fair, but bias, I now understand your TRUE colors. Your comment: “Now we've learned that tonight's moderator, Gwen Ifill of PBS, has written a pro-Obama book. So much for objectivity.” What makes you insinuate she won’t be fair? She is well known and has been in this position before. It is hard to believe you put so much trust in her. But, the reality is, you rather take than someone, who with the Lord's help, is in position to make a change for the better in our country.

Brother Steve, thank you thank you thank you for sharing this powerful, reassuring, life changing and inspiring story. To God be the glory. These are some dangerous days we live in and the devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour...Jesus said as they persecuted Him so they would you and we see it every day through the far left media, evil minded liberals, the devils advocate spewing their poison all over the airways...but one thing for sure, God is answering the prayers of His people. We want righteousness in our land, in our leader and in our lives to give our children any hope for a better future. Sarah Palin is indeed a breath of fresh air. Though she has come under so much attack she has stood bravely and endured above all odds, all along we know God is with her and bottom line is, good triumph over evil. She was indeed chosen for such a time as this and guess what Jesus wins...I pray for McCain and Sarah everyday and pray that God will take total control even tonight in Jesus name...At such a time as this, there is so much division in the churches, half of the so called blinded christians constantly praying and fasting for Obama and the other half praying and fasting for McCain and Palin...bottom line is, God is in control...inspite of all the occult praying by Oprah winfrey and Obama's family over in Kenya meddling in witchcraft to aid him in winning...we know good triumph over evil and God never forsakes the prayers of the righteous or cause their seeds to beg bread...many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers us out of them all...to God be the Glory...this time He wins...God bless....thumbs up to Sarah...God be with us all.

Steve,
Thought this timing was ordered since Pastor Mark saw Palin on Sept.9th. It was on Sept.5th a delegation from Sarah Palin's home town was in Austin, Tx. attending KEYS SUMMIT with Dr. Bruce Cook. A gentleman who reminded me of a Mordecai,a true spiritual father has known Sarah since she was a little girl said he would get a note God had put in my heart along with a bottle of anointing "Oil of Esther".
The note to Sarah was:
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS HAVE YOU SARAH PALIN BEEN CALLED AND CHOSEN.
Just as God had a plan to preserve His royal seed Israel thru Esther, no doubt God has raised you up for such a time as this. Your fragrant attitude of the heart is attracting favor. We decree because Sarah knows what "The King"loves and has adorned herself in the "royal robe" the scepter will be extended to take her position in a spirit of humility.
Each day intercessors anoint with the "Oil of Esther" decreeing the "Esther" anointing abides with you and the eyes of our nation are opened to see a hope and a future.
You, Sarah Palin are God's chosen and your lovely family are in our night and day prayers.
In the prayer watch 3a.m.-6a.m this morning I was led to Joshua 3:5 And the Lord said to the people, Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.
In the Hebrew, wonders or wondrous thing is pala, something beyond the human ability to achieve. Sarah in Hebrew meaning princess or queen and Palin in the Greek meaning further more or once more.
Decree, Sarah Palin, today's Esther will once again be God's hope for a nation.
Esther in Houston, Tx.

Hey concerned SO CALLED christian...I'll repeat it Gwen Ifill of PBS is not fair, is pro-Obama, ungodly, far left, liberal to the utmost and above all unchristlike. Why cant you be objective and respectful of others opinion whether wrong or right. I support and agree with Steve Stranges article whole heartedly, if you dont like what you read then don't accept his emails, don't read the charisma and don't respond...stay with the left side thinking and see where it gets you...you need to check yourself, check your bible and spend time in prayer asking God to reveal you to you. Martin Luther King stated don't judge a man or vote for a man simply by the color of his skin but by his character...Obama is unchristlike, he is a muslim, he admitted to it several times and he is anti-Israel. God said He would bless those who blesses Israel and curse those who don't...Obama doesn't, he supports gay rights, he support bills endorsing and encouraging abortion, the murder of innocent babies in the womb even in the third trimester...he is evil as they come....and you so called concern christ-ian suports him the muslim, devils advocate....don't you see you are outnumbered in this blog bringing your negativity which is so typical of the far left and then call yourself christians...

Our prayers have been answered on behalf of Sarah Palin's participation in the V.P. debate tonight. Her character, her core values, and her desires for this country were evident. She is God's woman for this time. May God continue to give her wisdom, good judgment, safety and strength for the coming days. Our prayers will continue to surround her.

As I listened to the vice-presidential debate tonight, I am so glad that our Great God is in control. His will shall be done! I hurt as I hear the people of God "slandering others and murdering with their tongues. Our God is not pleased with hearts and motives from which these comments are derived. Christians, lets continue to walk in love , pray for our nation, and vote( which is our priveledge). Remember this: God loves people more than anything. Because of His unconditional love, he died for the world! God is not willing that one person be lost. He loves Senator Obama, Senator McCain, Senator Biden and Gov. Palin. Lets
get out and share our faith with a dying world-one at a time. Then we will begin to see true change.

I don't doubt the Lord gave that man a word for Ms. Palin, and that he was right to deliver the word. However, I believe that, as God's messenger, there should be trust and confidentiality. - Just as with a doctor or lawyer.
The word is pretty clear about ministering PRIVATELY to those of reputation:
"And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain." (Galatians 2:2)
If we feel that we have the right to let the world know we got to deliver a prophetic word to someone 'important' then perhaps our motive isn't right. It's private and personal and the only thing making it public accomplishes is to give us a big head, or big name. - - Plus that, to dramatically give details about how emotional she got, etc., just doesn't seem like good prophetic etiquette.
It is awesome that God opened the door for him to give this word to her, but we must be faithful to walk it out with integrity.

Thank you Steve for sharing your experience. I don't really care for any of the candidates. My feeling about Sarah Palin is she should be a stay at home Mom to her son. I like a lot of things she has to say, but that is just how I feel. It is my belief that the Bible must be fullfilled before Christ's return and that no one is really going to make a difference in what happens before that time.

Just a month ago while watching the news and sliding further down in my chair with dispair over the political news, a women from Alaska began her acceptance speach. Something deep inside me began to resinate in my spirit. I literaly sat straight up in my chair and gave full attention to what Palin was saying. I knew that very hour that this women was indeed a sister in the Lord before the news media figured it out...smile. I know, that I know that God has put her there out of His awesome mercy & grace for this country. The Lord has shown me that she will walk the halls of the White House at night, lay her hands, and pray and proclaim the things of our God. She will speak the things of God to McCain. May we all recognize the hand of our Lord moving for us in this new season and humble ourselves and pray for our leaders like never before.

First, I do believe there is a spiritual reason for Sarah Palin being chosen for VP on the Republican ticket. When I heard she was on the ticket, a spirit of intercession came upon me and I have been compelled to pray in the spirit over her since. I do believe she is righteous and will be led by God.
Secondly, concerning Christians who support Obama...I respect your right. But it is impossible for me to understand how any Christian can vote for someone who does not embrace the right of an unborn baby to live. God Himself is the creator and giver of life, and to not respect something precious that God created is beyond me. Obama and others like him can make excuses about "choice" but the truth is, you are either pro-life, or pro-death, and I cannot even imagine God ever being pro-death since He is the creator of life.
Third, I have a little problem with the minister sharing his prophetic word publicly. This is not something to brag about, or make public. Especially, since the world doesn't understand these spiritual things and can mock them when they are made public. Many Christians are on the same page of believing that Palin may be an Esther, and are praying and interceding for her. But how can a minister be trusted if he goes around spouting out what God may have intended to be private.
As Christians, we need to watch our words closely, and pray even more.

The Lord told me to send this poem to Sarah Palin's office in Alaska. I also sent her a copy of my book, "With Every Beat Of My Heart".
As Christians, our responsibility is to go into the world with a message of hope & salvation. In this case the mission is to cover our sister with love, support and a covering of prayer.
Obama has bought the liberal media! It's time to stand up for John McCain & Sarah Palin & take by force the ground that has been stolen by the enemy. Every vote, every prayer counts.
That's why I sent this poem/prophecy to Sarah Palin. She needs our love & support. Change in Washington will come when Christians with backbone get in office!
"The Plans I Have for You"
Jeremiah 29:11
I've seen the path you've taken,
I've heard your every prayer,
My child I am here with you,
You are in my constant care,
The path of life has many turns,
But stay within my reach,
For the plans I have for you,
Are magnificent indeed,
Your faith it is my joy,
And your prayers like melodies,
Of a song of love so sweet,
As you humbly worship me,
I love you and I speak these words,
To keep your heart at rest,
You are my precious child,
And I'll give you all my best,
Don't worry about tomorrow,
It rests within my hands,
So remember my dear child,
I'm the master of life's plan.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
Plans to give you hope and a future."

I had the opportunity to hear Pat Robinson on CNN today speaking about Sarah Palin. Pat spoke on how he thought she would do a good job on the debate. I'm a Christian and an Independant Voter. Have been an elected official in the City where I reside for 6 years, with a Master's in Biblical Counseling. I was quite disturbed to hear her views on Isreal. She clearly stated that she believes in a Two (2) State Isreal. One for the Palestenians and one for Isreal. This is clearly wrong according to God's word. Please tell me your views on this. We as Christians need to clearly know our Canidates and their views on Isreal before we endorse them.

Steve, Ifill's book has not yet been written. It is not pro-anything. The McCain campaign was well aware of the book contract when they agreed to her service. Second, Palin stated that her position is the same as the Democratic position on gay rights and gay marriage issues. That acknowledgement removes that wedge issue. Third, this dramatization of Palin as the next Esther or Deborah or someone else is the same sort of idolatry that gave us Todd Bentley. She is not a saint and her background is not free of taint.

I am amazed at the diversity of these comments. First of all, I cannot understand how a born again christian could ever support the liberal democratic beliefs and how the same people cannot see or hear that God is in this? Did anyone ever stop to think that this could be the beginning of the latter rain that we are to be in before Christs return? I see a great possibility of McCain being elected and for some reason not being able to carry out his full term and Sarah Palin taking over and leading our nation back to God because of her passion and reverence for a living God. I for one have had enough of this dark evil world we live in and it's time for our elected officials who decide for us to have a divine intervention to help make decisions. There's only one way for Gods will to be done and that is for the christian to feel and know the will of God and get out and vote for one who has experienced God the way we have experienced him. We have never had a president /VP who is born again, spirit filled and knows God in a personal way. Get a grip America...this is for such a time as this.

My views and opinions of the candidates are just that, my views and my opinions. While I appreciate your effort to point out the differences between them all, I think you are going way, way, way overboard. I'm still going to back the person that I choose to back. I know that Barak is pro choice, so is God. He gives us a option to choose between life and death, blessings or curses, but oh that we would choose life. Hurling the charge of racism is serious, and those who do should ask themselves before hurling it: "Am I bearing false witness against my brother."
Finally, if Strang is such a racist why did he support Keith Butler (a black pastor) for U. S. Senator in Michigan?

Just because someone is a Christian and Spirit filled doesn't qualify them as a national leader or even a pastor for that matter. As in ministry gifts I believe it is more an issue of calling and ability.
I do not vote for a party, or for someone's race. I would love to see a black person become president - or a woman. What about Condoleeza Rice? :-) Personally, I vote values, biblical values. I do believe that the issue of life vs. death is one of the most important this year right up there with national security, border security, the economy and moral issues such as marriage. The fact is that someone's morals and values will legislate, and the closer to Christ's they are the better.
The ticket that comes closest to biblical values as I can see it is clearly the Republican ticket, so I will vote for McCain and Palin. The fact that they are confessing believers is a plus, but I realize they are still human. That's why we do need to pray. I also believe that there is an anointing like that Esther, Joseph and Daniel experienced available and working in McCain and Palin. But my hope is not in them, but in the Lord. Don't get your eyes on the vessel, but keep them on the Lord. Just as McCain and Palin are not our Saviors, Obama and Biden are not our enemies. They are the harvest and are loved by God. Thank you, Evangelist Vanessa for reminding us of that. We need to pray for them as well and as fervently as we do for McCain and Palin rather than curse them or their supporters with our words.
Lastly, I do not feel that publicizing this prophecy is necessarily beneficial as it could be used against God's purposes. Spiritual things are only discerned by the spirit and Palin's enemies who do not understand the gifts of the Spirit love to use this kind of thing against her. We need to be careful before whom we "cast our pearls." More reason to pray...

First of all it is not betting with people. God had a message to give to Palin. obviously you all can't receive the message with an open heart. We don't fight against principalities, and powers but against rulers and darkness of the world. That is where you two seem to be. We are not going to get on your level. We will uphold the Pastor and his family, Palin family, and Mccain family. This is not a mistake that a pastor was still and heard the voice of God and did what the Lord told him to do. God wants his message out there. Thank you pastor for listening for that voice, be encouraged.

This has nothing to do with my dad at all, this is my personal beliefs. and i believe GOD will get all the victory for this. Glory to HIM alone.

You are not advancing the views of McCain and Palin by calling brothers in Christ evil. That is most irresponsible and I call on you to apologize.
Barack Obama is also a brother in Christ. I am not saying I will vote for him, because as a clergyman that is not appropriate (although some in ministry see it incumbent on them to do so). I will say that McCain supporters that will call other Christians evil because they are frustrated do not represent the rest of us well here on the internet.

I'm sure Steve Strang supported Keith Butler and they probably have thrown money across the fence to each other too. If not to each other to someone that they would like to get in bed with. I know how it works.
I have voted for years Republican because of the so called "Christian values". The Republicans have been in power for eight years. Did they reverse Roe v Wade? Has it been challenged in the courts over the last eight years? The Republicans and conversatives have controlled of the House and Senate. Why not? I am a Black American, but first of all I'm a child of the living God. I'm voting how God told me to vote. He may have told you to vote for McCain, but he did'nt tell me too. For the first time in American history a man of color, is qualified to lead this country. You bet, I'm going to vote for him. Because Bush's and the likes- McCains have had thier chance. They blew it.
This election should not be about race, but for African-American it is and sadly the racists who hide behind thier "Christian values" is is too.

As Paul teaches us in Ephesians 1, God gives power to those who believe. The power is like the working of the same mighty strength that raised Christ from the dead. Let me just say, I know that I know this is a God thing because I have personally seen the power God has given Pastor Mark. There is no way in our own strength could anyone manage the thousands of emails and hours and hours of phone calls Pastor Mark has so willingly taken. I have had many personal conversations with him and every time He is sure to point everything to Christ. I have seen true humility and true power in this. His faith and belief in what God is doing is so strong that he is willing to put his direct phone number and email address for everyone to access. By this there is no need for negative talk amongst anyone. Believers remember, the true biblical way to deal with disagreements is to go straight to your brother, just the two of you (see Matthew 18). Pastor Mark has given you a way to do this. So to those bringing encouragement, keep praying we need each other in this time! And to Pastor Mark- thank you for your willingness to walk in the power of God. May he continue to give you strength, endurance and favor. I am with you, as are so many others. We will not come off the wall!

Some will never understand what GOD wants to do for America. I'm 48 years old...and I remember Mom and Dad driving home from Church and I heard them talking as I sat in the back seat. They would say, "...Sister Dees...has sure been in the Presence of GOD all week." "...Brother Ray has sure been with GOD all week..." And Church and Worship was so different because GOD was there...and there were people who came not expecting anything but GOD to just show up! They knew if they had GOD there...Blessings would follow. Men knew how to pray. Ladies knew how to get God's Attention...GOD moved because people made room for Him.
GOD showed up because HE was welcome there. We didn't go past one week without GOD showing up!
We wanted GOD. We wanted ALL of HIM. I was trained and taught by people who had real stains on their knees from kneeling down and praying. They honored God...they taught us to do the same!
McCain has started searching and longing for GOD. Sarah and Todd
Palin knows how to pray and they aren't ashamed that they are "different." To have a praying team of people who Call on JEHOVAH GOD of the DIVINE TEXT...(God's Holy Word), for them to pray for all of us...will make the difference. When GOD is invited and welcomed into a Leader's Office and Heart...GOD will provide support and wisdom and FAVOR...and that is what is going to happen...many have left GOD out long enough...and HE desires to rule and reign and give America FAVOR again! GOD, Let us be a part
of this Awesome Presence of God that surrounds our dear Sarah Palin, and her husband, Todd.
No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Protect them and Keep them safe!

I doubt — very seriously — that you know how our present legal posture on abortion was arrived at and how it might be changed. (Hence, your inability to discern any progress).
Roe v. Wade was a legal decision, decided upon by Supreme Court justices — not law enacted by your state or federal representatives (it IS important to you that we be governed by elected representatives, right?)
President Bush (43) appointed two strict constructionist justices (Roberts and Alito)that would probably view Roe v. Wade as a poor decision. That is as much as any president can do about Roe v. Wade. However, it is NOT little. When you couple Roberts and Alito with Scalia and Thomas (who are also strict constructionist justices), you are just ONE vote short of possibly overturning of Roe v. Wade. With liberal, activist Justice Stevens on the verge of retirement, hopefully you can see why it might be important in this election to vote for McCain (who has promised to appoint strict constructionst judges).

I would like to share with other Christians, who may not be adept with "right words" the PERFECT PRAYER to pray for the November election. It is straight from the scriptures.
Psalm 140:8
Do not grant O Lord the desires of the wicked (O'bama and his gang of liberals)
Do not further (their) wicked scheme.
Lest they be exalted (to presidency of USA)
In Jesus name we pray.
After praying, we of the Church have an obligation to walk by faith and not by sight, believing we have received what we prayed for. Therefore we now use those same words of Ps 140:8 to THANK the Lord.
I thank you Lord that you do not grant the desires of the wicked for this upcoming Presidential election. I thank you that you do not further their wicked scheme. Lest they be exalted (to the Presidency) I praise you and thank you and exalt your holy name.
In Jesus name. Amen The thanks should be repeated at least once daily until election day.
Additionally, I believe it was prophesied by Kim Clement late last year that the new President will be immediately filled with the Holy Spirit upon taking office.
Just goes to show you, there is NOTHING that the BIBLE cannot effectively address and two, GOD is
fully in charge. God bless the obedient Church!

If you look closely you will see Gov. Palin is still standing. She has proved to America that she is a believer and she is strong in her faith.
As a Christian under attack she has kept her character in tact as she has endured this pressure. I wrote the poem in the previous entry from Jeremiah 29:11.
In this I felt the heart of compassion that needs to be directed towards her; encouraging her as the Lord led me in writing the poetry for her.
This is a spiritual battle and instead of fighting each other we need to fight with spiritual armor and prayer on a united front.
We must cover these candidates (McCain-Palin) with intercession and take back the ground that the media is stealing away.
Sarah Palin brings with her a relationship of strength and commitment to the Lord. That always comes from walking the walk and not giving in when it gets tough. She has fought well and will continue to do so.
Read the poem again, then read the prophecy once more also; listen with a spiritual ear. We have prayed for this kind of change and leadership for years.
We don't need to lose sight of God now by bickering and slinging slander! We need to be Christlike and pursue after God's choice...Don't blow it America. The pitfall of change is impatience.
God is at work and He is in control. I believe this is His time to manifest a miracle for America. We need to let Him do His work and we need to do our part as well...

Now, did you see the debate last night ?
Are you still sure that she is nowadays Esther ?
She was caught twisting the truth more then once and all she had in her defense was the energy. Everytime she kept going to that alone.
I didn't check my mail before now. Infact I stopped checking this newsletter, since I noticed that ,
some ministers of God's word are receiving the Word from the( according to them ) Holy Spirit according to the Political Party they endorse.

I heard a prophecy in May that the Lord wasn't through with America, He was bringing in a Vice-President through the backdoor in 2008 with the Mantle of Deborah. I have the CD. I also know Pastor Mark Arnold and can tell you that he is a man of God and incredibly humble in spirit. As far as Sarah Palin, I DO believe she has been raised up for such a time as this ... Jesus shines through her. For those who say she is not perfect, of COURSE she isn't ... are any of us? But she's God's lady for such a time as this and she is trying her best and deserves our prayers!!

I saw the VP debate. I thought Sarah Palin did very well in all areas EXCEPT her announcing pursuing dividing the nation of Israel by allowing a palestinian state in Israel. This is directly opposed to Bible Scripture. Read Joel 3:2, it states God will judge those who divide his land, Israel, or scatter his people. Genesis 12:3 says God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. Dividing the land of Israel will result in a curse from God.
I pray for Sarah Palin and John McCain. I will vote for them and I believe they are the ones to lead this country. I pray they do not pursue dividing Israel.
Blessings in Jesus,

If you read the story closely Pastor Mark didn't tell you who to vote for he just told you that God sent him to deliver a message. Can you tell me that it wasn't the work of God that got him through 10,000 people to the very front to deliver a message? You naysayers need to check your faith. If you don't have faith then you have disbelief which is a lack of faith. I am talking about faith in God. Why did this story turn into a debate about Obama and McCain? All Pastor Mark did was send this story to a few close friends and this story has now reached all states and 36 countries with him receiving upwards of 12,000 e-mails. Even though this is not a numbers game it is just to show you how God is working. He is still in control. Some of us still have faith in our God and all Pastor Mark was doing was being obedient. God Bless him for that. Thank you Steve Strang for having the faith to print this story. I will keep my subscription to Charisma. May God Bless you all.

The job of vice president is to represent and lead all of the people of the United States, not only the Christians. I am still waiting for Ms. Palin to state with out hesitation that non-believers and atheists are as important to her as believers. Otherwise she should remove herself as a candidate. Obama has made it very clear that he includes all US citizens, Ms. Palin must do the same.

Dear Brother Strang
By way of confirmation to Brother Arnolds word, the Lord had given me similar thoughts about Sarah being another Ester -- which I E-mailed to our local WIBG Christian radio Political talk show host Seth Grossman here in Southern New Jersey, and also posted similar thoughts on the ZolaBoard back in September.
Dear Seth
We had a Preacher in last week from Liberia and was preaching on this verse.
Joh 21:5 Then he (Jesus) asked them, "Young men, haven't you caught anything?" "Not a thing," they answered.
Joh 21:6 He said to them, "Cast your net out on the right side of the boat, and you will catch some." So they threw the net out and could not pull it back in, because they had caught so many fish.
In my mind I heard “Cast Your Vote on the Right Side” To me that means God is on the Side of the Republican ticket this time around--so please don’t waste your vote on a 3rd Party. If God is for McCain–Palin who can be against them. It’s a done deal.
God seems to always get His way.
Remember Bush lost against Gore but God wanted Bush just like He wanted
Ester/Hadassah to be Queen for such a time as 9/11, and the same goes for McCain and Palin. Palin will eventually be our First Woman President.

This I know--she definitely will fight against evil---Look out baby killing left. Watch out Jew hating Abijimajab!
Jdg 9:53 And a certain woman threw a piece of a millstone upon Abimelech's head and crushed his skull.
:54 Then he called hastily to the young man who was his armor-bearer, and said to him, Draw your sword and kill me, so that men may not say of me, A woman killed him! And his young man thrust him through, and he died.

My wife and I also had the impression that Sarah Palin is God's choice. We knew a few months ago in our hearts that the vice president was going to be the key in this election.
I was glad to hear Palin say in the debate that she was tolerant of the differences in people's choices, but that she wanted to go on record as stating her stance that marriage is defined as that of one man and one woman.
While Biden spoke so negatively about the past, Palin spoke about the hope of the future and had something to offer. May the Lord protect all of the candidates and may the Lord be gracious and merciful to us and give us McCain and Palin, a God-fearing and progressive choice as our next President and Vice President.

The night before the debate, I felt led to fast and pray all the next day until the debate. The next morning I wrote all the Christians on my email list that I was fasting and praying for Sarah Palin all day. I am sure she had millions of others doing the same for God's will. There are many examples in the Bible of the value of intercessory prayer.
I have read some of the contrary remarks on this forum, and I am genuinely puzzled how any true Christian could be associated with the Democratic Party, a party whose presidents have filled our courts with liberal judges who have tried to remove God from every aspect of our public life, a party whose judges have replaced Bibles in our schools with condoms, a party which was just yesterday called "the party of death" by a Vatican official, a party which largely condones the killing of innocent helpless babies but tries to ban the execution of vicious killers, a party whose members are filled with such filthy-mouthed haters that no decent person can even tolerate reading their hate-filled filthy trash on blogs like the Koz Report and the Huffington Post, a party composed of every God-hating, America-hating, filthy-music-loving, filthy-movie-loving group in this nation, etc.
Then some people attempt to brand you as a racist if you don't vote for Obama. In other words, if we don't elect the most unqualified, most inexperienced, most liberal, most pro-abortion candidate in our nation's history (whose friends include unrepentant terrorists, convicted criminals, two America-hating "preachers", corrupt politicians), then America is racist??? How stupid can that be?!
Do Obama supporters know that he advocates letting babies die (i.e., in effect killing living babies) who managed to survive an attempt to abort them?!!! They are born alive, then left in a room with dirty linen (and all the blood, urine, excrement, vomit, germs, and disease that are in and on them) to die alone and with no care. Thrown away in the filthy trash, like they are only trash too. We are talking about living human beings! This is pure evil.
In addition Obama supports partial-birth abortion, in which babies' heads are outside the woman's body, then the doctor penetrates their skull and sucks their brains out! I couldn't do that to a dog or any other animal, much less a living innocent helpless little human baby!
What kind of monsters are these Democrats who support such inhuman, barbaric, evil procedures?!!!

We must first get our house(church) in order, before we claim that we are taking over the white house. I have no doubt that God will use Sarah, it may not necessarily be as a VP. The Bible tells us to test every spirit. So we should not accept prophesies blindly, just because we support a candidate. If someone prophesied for Obama, we would call him/her a false prophet. That is why I am glad that God looks at the heart, and not the outside, otherwise some people would still be in chains, and we would find a verse in the Bible to justify it.
Whoever goes in on Nov 5th, I will support them and pray for them, and trust that God will use them for His Glory.
Let us remember, we cannot manipulate God with prayers.

Kansas, there are others praying for Obama, and they are applying the same faith. People can smear Obama all they want, but he too is a child of God, and God can and will use him if he desires. God is not a respecter of persons, neither is He a Republican nor a Democrat. These are man made parties, that will use anything to get into power. Unfortunately for American “Christians”, all they need to hear is “pro-life republican” and they are ready to sign up. Let as be very careful, because anti-Christ may not come looking like your typical definition of evil. I am just concerned that we don’t dig deeper. God bless.

God spoke to me when Gov. Palin was chosen and said this is a God thing. It had to be as there was no chance of her being chosen without His intervention. I have never been a racist and would love to see a person of color elected. I just cannot support Sen. Obama due to his views. The Bible says you will know them by their fruit. We do need to pray for him that God will save him because that is what really matters in the end.

For those who say Obama is a Christian, I beg to differ with you. A true child of God does NOT sanction killing babies. He's a liar, and been caught in many. Some are voting for him because of his color, not because he has done anything great for his state or city. And, yes, I believe we will give an account to the Lord on who we support in elections. If one supports abortion, and every sinful thing, then we too, will be judged by the company we keep.
I'm thankful to find this blog, because it confirms what the Lord has shown me. When John McCain announced her as his VP pick, I knew nothing about Sarah Palin. Yet, my spirit leaped within me, as I heard the Lord say, "she has come to the kingdom for such a time as this." God has confirmed this with many, so we can take it as a word from Him.
As far as conflicting voices saying Obama is the chosen one, some are hearing from the god of this world - not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This man doesn't associate with anyone but thugs, crooks and Chicago style politicians. Make no mistake about it, those blacks who are voting for him are only voting because of his color, and, this, too, is racist.
The antiChrist who shall arise in the last days will be a great deceiver, as is Obama. I pray that people get their eyes opened to who this man serves. It isn't the God of the Bible.
Peace!

Ruth says:
Back in early September, Gov Linda Lingle of Hawaii (who is Jewish) wrote an article in the Jewish Journal, drawing an analogy between Queen Esther and Sarah Palin. I remember seeing the title of the article: “Reading about Queen Esther helped guide Palin”, but I never got to read this article until today. However when I read the title back in September, something in my spirit jumped and said “Of course!!! Sarah Palin is Esther!”. I had no idea of any Esther prophetic word about Sarah Palin at that time but somehow I just KNEW that the idea was of God. I am amazed to come to this site yesterday to see this validated and I am ecstatic that the prophetic word has gotten back to Sarah Palin. Our God is good and he has raised Sarah Palin for a time such as this. His anointing rests on her, and may He use her for His own wonderful purposes in these times of spiritual darkness over many. This is my prayer for her. Amen.

Reading these blogs is heart breaking and we wonder why the world doesn't take us serious and has lost respect for many of us who call ourselves Christians. We should be praying for God's will to be done not just for the ticket we want to win. I wonder if we all watched the same debate. Sarah was debating expectation and expectation won. She did better than many EXPECTED.
I'll put my comments in parenthesis but I caution everyone to remember Revelation 21:8: But the fearful(of an Obama
presidency), and unbelieving (that God is Sovereign), and the abominable, and murders 1 John 2:9 he that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness...,(I sense so much hate in these blogs and that's just like murder),and whoremongers (I've noticed that so many Republicans have been committing adultery, been in acts of homosexuality, should I say more?), sorcerers, and idolaters (the Republican Party has been idolized by the far right and it has become almost cult like in accusing anyone who is not "in the Party" as not being a Christian. You shall have NO other god beside the Lord God.)and all liars (Sarah has been annointed, prophesized about, and call the ONE all while she is lying to help her ticket.)ALL liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. You mean to tell me that God Almighty put this scripture on hold just for the annointed one? You judge.

My fight is not for Obama, my fight is against hypocrisy in the church. I have supported presidents from both parties. I am tied of us Christians putting our hope in politicians and repeating scripted marketing schemes that were developed by non-Christians. When God choose David, he did not fit the job description of a King. God does not always use the “perfect” people that we think that He will. In fact, he sometimes uses the rejected vessels. I don’t claim Obama is Christian, that is between Him and God, and am sure he has many faults. I also don’t believe that McCain upholds all the ten commandments, but am sure you are willing to overlook that.
My greater concern is not in the political world, it is in the church world. Whoever God anoints to lead this great county, I am going to pray and support them.

You know what, brothers and sisters? Let's all agree to disagree agreeably. The Lord calls for unity, but that doesn't always means "uniformity" ... we're not going to always agree, that's for sure. But I think (hopefully) we can agree that the Lord has done something remarkably special through Pastor Mark Arnold. I think we can take courage that God is no respecter of persons and that as we each pray humbly before God, He will help to heal our country and bring the leadership that HE wants. I believe that Pastor Mark has been used by God to show that God wants to communicate with us and wants our obedience, if we just have ears to hear. I admit I'm going to vote for McCain/Palin because of the fact that they are pro-life, more experienced in so many ways and many other reasons that I won't go into because it might just stir up more controversy. Suffice it to say, I have been SO encouraged by those of you who have kindly said that they, too, had felt such a confirmation about Sarah Palin. I have, too, and when I read some of the profound and humble revelations that so many of you guys have had, it just gives me courage to PRAY with all my might, as never before! To the anonymous one: who stated Sarah Palin must include aethists and unbelievers-not just christians. Where-o-when did she ever EXCLUDE anyone? She has NEVER said she supports only or primarily christians. So that means YOU are hearing what you WANT to hear and it is absolutely so unfair of you to place your bias on her. In case you are not aware, there is a psychological principle that states:
(paraphrased) A guilty party or biased party will make accusations against an opponent in order to make them appear to be guilty of the very thing of which the biased party is guilty. Just like the Democrats are now accusing the Republicans for causing the need for a 700 billion dollar bailout. The TRUTH, however is that the DEMOCRATS engineered it with their policies that insisted that banks and other lending institutions lend money to people wholly unqualified for their loans. The legislation authorizing this kind of lending was signed by Bill Clinton. It's simply satans way of destroying something wonderful that God created- the USA.A GOD fearing nation, out of which has gone billions of dollars to preach the Gospel around the world. Because we as christians have done that, as GOD's church we are entitled to the same covenent promise He made to Abraham- " I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you. Obama is true to liberal principals, is the the most far left member of Congress NOW, and will be far worse than Clinton or any previous liberal has ever been. His record speaks for itself. The fact he would not salute the flag in an appropriate moment, but chose to stand with his hands crossed in front of him, refused to wear a flag pin until challenged during this presidential election campaign, aligned himself with terrorists and criminals, aligned himself with possibly the MOST unsaved principals of churchdom in Chicago, yet claims one of them led him to the Lord- Folks you cannot give something that you ain't got-neither Wright or Obama are saved, only VERY RELIGIOUS, which is satans fiefdom. As
members of the Church, we have been given a Spirit of discernment and in addition the scripture says "we have an unction (annointing) from the Holy One and we know all things." 1Jn2:20
On this basis, there should be no true church member opposed to the will of God by voting Obama. For my black compadres, I say this- As a black woman, I would dearly love to see a black president, but not just any black man. Obama has a far more sleazy past than any other presidential candidate in our recent past and we as a race need to open our eyes and see REALITY. If as a black person you are voting for Obama's race you are betraying GOD, if in fact you have proclaimed HIM as LORD of your life. You can't have it both ways- because satan does and continues to present himself in every situation as an angel of light. (Barack Obama)

One Anonymous person stated that VP candidate Sara Palin believes the same as the Democrats regarding Gay marriage. She does not. She stated that "marriage is between one man and one woman."
Unions of same-sex couples are not the same as marriage. We've had unholy unions for many years - none of which were marriages ordained by the Lord.
As we read these prophecies we must remember that the promises embodied in these are dependent on the obedience of God's people. Yes, God is sovereign, but Israel lost many promised blessings because of their unwillingness to obey the Lord. "God forbid lest I should sin and cease praying for you." - I'm without a concordance to find the location in the Scriptures for this verse. Sorry.

Marie, there is hypocrisy in both camps, only that republicans do a better job of masking it to Christians. To me, the democrats are open sinners, and republicans are like Pharisees. They are both sinners in the eyes of the lord.
I will not waste my time defending any party, because both parties have failed in different ways. Our prayer should be that in the midst of human failure, that God will still prevail.
I long for the days of true prophets, who were not swayed by one side or the other, but spoke the true word from the Lord. Nowadays, you don’t know who to trust, and I don’t blame people for questioning some things.

Mr. Strang, I am writing as a devout believer who supports Barak Obama, and albeit, you do not support Obama, your article was very misleading and extremely unfair. First you stated that he had no major accomplishment to his name as a public servant; please see the list of some of his accomplishments. It seems to me, as a believer you would have felt it was incumbent upon you to check his accomplishments out, and list them for your viewers to see before you decided that they were small accomplishments, not worthy of major accomplishments.
In the interview with Rick Warren at Saddleback Church, when asked about evil whether he would confront evil or destroy it. Barak Obama said that he would confront evil because only God can destroy evil. And he also said evil exists in our homes, streets and communities insinuating that evil is everywhere. Mr. Strang, you stated that he gave some liberal answer mentioning Darfur and child abuse both liberal answers. His answers were scriptural; because we all know, no one can destroy evil but our God. When Jesus comes, he alone will judge the living and the dead and put evil under his feet. McCain seemed to have equated evil only with Bin Laden.
The bottom line is I can and will not encourage anyone to vote for John McCain or Barak Obama. But I will vote for Barak Obama. Because I feel he is the best candidate for this country. And I am pro-life. But I think Barak is good for the times in this country and in the Church. It is about time democrats came out and stated their faith. I believe it has caused the Church to look around and see that their have been believers voting for other moral issues as well. For years, it has seemed to me that the Evangelical base has made God look as though he only cared about the sin of abortion and homosexuality. I want people to know he is a big God and he cares about the baby in the womb and after he/she becomes a part of everyday living. I pray and hope the Church see that we have to be lights in the world telling the world about the savior who became human, incarnate by the Holy Spirit and Virgin Mary. Who will come again and his kingdom will know no end. And our major responsibility is to take the Gospel to Judea, Samaria and to the whole world.
Last of all, to make a declaration to the world to encourage people to vote for one person based on two sins as though that is the definitive crust of God is wrong. You are painting an incorrect picture of the one who is complete and perfect in every way. We as a nation must hold to our freedom dearly, and it is that freedom which allows you and I to worship our God in truth and righteousness, and it is that same freedom that will allow me to proclaim him to the atheist or unbeliever beside me. And it is the goodness of God that allows the whole process to happen. It has been this current administration that has so vehemently threatened that freedom, namely, the ill-treatment of terrorist suspects in Afghanistan, Guantánamo Bay, and secret detention centers. The scriptural principle, a little leaven leavens the whole lump applies. The Freedom of some has already been challenged which will eventually lead to freedom of all. And Obama is not in office. It is the Bush administration.
The bottom line is you do not know the answers or the right person I or anyone else should vote for. We do not know who God will use. But we are to live in truth and righteousness and thereby count on God to act on our behalf the ones who righteousness will avail much in prayer and not in our vote.
Someof Obama's accomplishments.
Obama worked to pass a number of laws in Illinois and Washington to improve the health of women. His accomplishments include creating a task force on cervical cancer, providing greater access to breast and cervical cancer screenings, and helping improve prenatal and premature birth services.
His first law was passed with Republican Tom Coburn, a measure to rebuild trust in government by allowing every American to go online and see how and where every dime of their tax dollars is spent.
Obama has introduced and helped pass bipartisan legislation to limit the abuse of no-bid federal contracts.
Barack Obama introduced the Patriot Employer Act of 2007 to provide a tax credit to companies that maintain or increase the number of full-time workers in America relative to those outside the US; maintain their corporate headquarters in America; pay decent wages;
Obama sponsored legislation to combat predatory payday loans, and he also was credited with lobbied the state to more closely regulate some of the most egregious predatory lending practices
