A Call to Christian Leaders to Speak Up to Our New President
by Steve Strang
Next Tuesday, January 20, America will inaugurate Barack Obama, the first African-American president. That will be a historic day—one I’ll be glad I lived long enough to witness. But many who believe in biblical values are concerned that an Obama presidency will turn the nation sharply left. Some of my conservative Christian friends are so depressed over the prospect of the next four years they refuse to watch the news because it only makes them upset.
I supported John McCain, mainly because of his stand on abortion. His personal life has been a mess, and he was less willing to talk about the role of faith in his life than was Obama. However, McCain took a pro-life position, and Obama was for abortion rights.
When I met Obama at a meeting last June, I asked him about abortion. You can read my Strang Reports of that meeting at strangreport.com. He said he wanted to cut down on the need for abortion. He was very convincing—and his commitment to do that made it easier for conservative black Christians to back him.
Interestingly, in California, Florida and Arizona, constitutional amendments to uphold traditional marriage passed with the help of black and Hispanic citizens who also voted for Obama. The passing of these amendments shows me that the nation has not suddenly taken a turn toward the left. Remember, Obama won by only seven percentage points. People were tired of President Bush and the war, and Obama promised change.
I hope the change is not as radical as some fear. Though Obama made conciliatory remarks to the Christian leaders at the June meeting, he has said that in the first 100 days of his administration he’ll pass the Freedom of Choice Act, which would overturn all anti-abortion laws at both the state and the national levels.
Myles Munroe, a well-known black leader and friend, responded to my post-election analysis in a way that eloquently explains how conservative black leaders feel about Obama’s election:
“I am not in agreement with Barack Obama’s policy position regarding abortion, homosexuality and same-sex relations, and no Bible-believing kingdom citizen could agree with these positions. However, as regarding his election as the first black president of the USA, this cannot and must not be minimized as to the importance and value it is to the tremendous historical, racial and cultural impact worldwide. Anyone who has been affected by oppression in the past 200 years could appreciate the importance of this event.
“The celebration of this accomplishment does not mean the acceptance of Mr. Obama’s social policies but rather what he represents as a symbol of the restoration and recovery of human dignity from the long march of oppression and the curse of slavery.
“The Lord used Joseph to influence the pagan king, Pharaoh of Egypt ... [and] Daniel to influence the pagan King Nebuchadnezzar [of] Babylon. ... God used these men of God to influence those nations after the king was in power” (emphasis added).
This is a time for godly leaders who have Obama’s ear to speak up, as Joseph and Daniel did. Many of them are Charisma readers, and most are personal friends of mine. So I call on them to stand for morality in government, the rights of the unborn, and traditional values relating to marriage and sexual morality.
Probably the evangelical who has the most potential influence is the Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell, pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston. But Bishop T.D. Jakes attended the meeting with Obama in June and later wrote an open letter of congratulations to him on his candidacy.
Other leaders who could gain access, such as Charles E. Blake, presiding bishop of the Church of God in Christ, Bishop Kenneth Ulmer of Faithful Central Bible Church in Los Angeles, and the Rev. Floyd Flake, former congressman and current pastor of the Greater Allen AME Cathedral in Brooklyn, New York, may be able to speak prophetically to Obama in a way the traditional conservative leaders who spoke to Ronald Reagan or Bush couldn’t.
It’s as Munroe wrote me: “I believe the Lord has the power to change the heart of Barack Obama, and we should not doubt the power of the Holy Spirit to change a heart. Let us pray for those in authority as we are admonished in Romans 13. This is our duty now.”
This is a time for godly leaders who have Obama’s ear to speak up.
As usual, your comments are welcome.

Well said--the morning after the election,I recalled hearing Billy Graham respond to a question about the greatest need in the world by saying it was racism--Ephesians seems to bear that out. God obviously cares about this and the unborn. We need to avoid becoming too narrowly focused and to maintain our prayer vigil for our leaders.

I am all for the Spirit of God changing Obama and his stance on abortion and homosexuality. Do you believe the Spirit of God will do this solely in answer to our prayers? Do you think He will overpower Obama to get it done? Or will He speak to him through others, and use His powers as God to draw Obama to see the light and to cooperate with God? Many Charismatic-Pentecostqal, Full Gospel believers are right now taking much solace in their prayers. Yes, Daniel spoke to the king of Babylon advising him, but it took God making the king eat grass like an animal for 7 years to make the king shout "He is God!"
I have never really known just how much my prayers for another person would cause the Spirit to change them, when they didn't want to change, and thought they already had whatever light they needed. We pray for unbelievers in our families and it seems to take years and years of it before they change, if they ever do. It is hard to find solace in prayer when we offered literally tons of it to keep a Leftist Liberal out of the White House, but got one anyway. We shall see what happens as we go along. Right now, Obama is set to negate all state and federal laws that hamper abortion; and he has invited the flaming gay, Bishop V. Gene Robinsom. to help lead the inaugural celebrations.

I have been reading up on Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood, that Mr. Obama wants to support. From what I have read in her books, she began the organization to basically commit genocide on Blacks, the poor and the disabled to have a perfect race. My take on this is that we only won a battle by electing an African-American into office, which the enemy of our souls was happy to give up, because he has actually won the war with the worst form of racism known to man and that is the extermination of African-Americans in mass proportions. So when Obama signs this Pro-choice Act he will be signing the death sentence on his own people.
I would hope one of the black leaders in our churches would buy him the book that spells it out to him what he will actually be doing!

Will I pray for him??? You betcha! We better pray more for this president than ever before. My grandbabies future is at stake. Because he is the first BLACK MAN elected president he is full of pride and we all know what pride does. I pray God bless america because we need Gods blessing like never before. I makes me very sad to know that the Body of Christ is still having 'debates' over Obama's election. I Timothy 2:1-4 declares that we should pray for those in authority. Why turn away from any news regarding President-elect Barack Obama? It's time to stop behaving like little children who didn't get their way. We need to pray. Before we do, though, we need to ask the Lord to cleanse our hearts from any attitudes, presumptionns, or sins that will prevent us from praying for this precious man out of a heart of purity and submission to the will of God. God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours. I Timothy 2:4says that God desires that all men to be saved....I believe that President Elect Obama is saved. This scripture further says that God desires that (all) men come to the knowledge of the truth. Obama is not professing to be a theologian! He is a politician. But with prayer and wise counsel he can come into a greater truth regarding the Word of God. In fact, it is obvious by the behavior and comments, hostility and lack of love shown in the Body of Christ over this matter, that we all need to come into a greater truth regarding the Word of God. Let's not let our racism, and political party preference blind us and hinder our ability to see and hear God more clearly in all aspects of life. I believe with all my heart that God has predestined this man to be President at this pivotal time in history. That makes him a man of God! And yes, God loves him too. Let's stop looking superficially at men, out of our tainted vision - God looks at and see the heart. As an African American, born again, Spirit filled Christian I am proud of President Barack Obama and I pray for him daily, just as I prayed for Presidents Bush, Clinton, and Regan, etc. I am however, very dissapointed in the Body of Christ, the way we've handled ourselves during this election surely cannot be pleasing to the Lord. I've put myself on the altar, as the old folks used to say, and I'm asking the Lord to cleanse my heart from everything that is unpleasing to him. I want to please the Lord. I signed up to be like him. He knows how to bring his will to past. My job is to pray. Not to pray against someone, but to call upon the mercies of Lord and allow God to work in the hearts and minds of men. Isn't the King's heart in His hands?

Give it up, Steve! Recently you (and J. Lee Grady) have proven time and again that you are BUSINESSMEN out to make a buck and a POLITICAL point rather than see souls saved and true pentecostal revival come to the church of Jesus Christ. One finds your headiness and highmindedness offensive, and because of folks similar to you and Mr. Grady, it's no wonder that our Movement is in the mess that it's in today.

Will u guys cut it out. Speak up? As if Obama is a bully of some sort. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Charisma but according to scripture, our responsiblity right now is to pray for our commander and chief. Thats right offer up heartfelt earnest prayer for our president and all others in positions of authority the Bible does not instruct New Testament Christians to do anything else. Let us do our part and God will do His. While I do not embrace all of Obama policies I do not believe he is this evil pagan that U are making him out to be. Obama is a Christian. According to the Bible, what makes one so is what he or she doe with Christ. The other issues are issues that will be worked out as he continues to mature in his faith and is exposed to the W
ord of God just like the rest of us. Let's pray for our brother. It's the most powerful and effective thing we can do.

Supporting a man and "celebrating" the symbol of his election, not on the basis of Godly moral principle but on the basis of race, regardless of what race he represents, is racism of the most egregious kind.
Excusing, or worse "celebrating," African-American racism is a fundamental denial of the clear New Testament principle that in Christ there is no Jew nor Greek, male nor female, black nor white.
If a "Christian" white man violated every moral principle in order to vote for a man simply because he was white and because of the symbolism of what his "whiteness" represented to history and culture, that white man would be justly and universally condemned and the validity of his "Christian" persona questioned.
Tens of thousands of Christian men and women have labored hard and long for the past 30 years to regain incremental inch by incremental inch of ground in the battles for the life of the unborn and the protection of the most foundational of moral standards against the homosexual onslaught. But Barack Obama has promised to wipe all that out with a few strokes of the pen just as soon as he takes office. Myles Monroe is saying that none of that matters because he's black, which is what's really important!
This is the most unconscionable of double standards.

pulleco, you are clueless and your analogy is ridiculous.
Since the history of this great nation ALL preceding presidents have been caucasian males. If caucasian males represented some aggrieved class that have suffered great historical injury or injustice on the basis of skin color, then whites would be well justified in celebrating the symbolism of his rise to the highest elected office in the land.
It not prejudice or bigotry for African Americans, a people who have been the victims of race-based slavery, state sponsored segregation and all the horrific evils of Jim Crow, to celebrate the fact that forty years after MLK's march on Washington, this great nation has shown a willingness to lay down the burden of race.
One only has to listen some of the recent diatribe from the RNC race about "Barack the magic negro" (circulated by a southern political dinosaur who belonged to an all white club in tenessee) to see that we have not completely decapitated the head of that monster called racism.
You may not have voted for Obama (I didn't), but I am proud to live in a nation where years ago, Booker T Washington's invitation the white house sparked an outrage. But in a few days the nation will welcome the first African American president.
He has my prayers.

So once someone is born, their rights are up for grabs.
Abortion was the only issue keeping me in the Republican fold and now I see that they take a stand on the issue, but do little or nothing to help women or children. It's a scam.
Republicans lost my vote because they have their heads shoved so far in an oil well, they can't tell what is important anymore. You can stand for truth and what is right, but you better be careful how you present it. The fear mongering over an Obama presidency turns my stomach. Much of it has been done in the name of Jesus.

Its really odd (?) how people such as D.J. Embry writes, that people need to grow up and stop acting as children. I see the election of barack as children voting for him because they got caught up in the hype of a black man and their hate for President Bush (who is STILL the president as this time). (God forbid we are attacked under barack, nobody has our back.barack hasn't the slightest idea what to do),he's not a man of experience, not a man who wants to keep a christian nation, not a spirit filled, born again, God seeking person. The Bible talks about wolves in sheeps cloting..that barack is. I pray he does well because if he doesn't, we'll never know america as free again. he promised change alright, (you'll notice he never said GOOD CHANGE,just change, but is using all the liberal cronies to fill his assignments.Get ready for the change of socialism and anything else he and the liberals who hate God can do to destroy our "One nation under God/barack". You grow up EB, I knew from the beginning of your letter by your statements that you were a black man. One of our commandments is "THOU SHALL NOT KILL" and he is signing the breath out of the innocent before they have a voice and people like YOU are going to stand before God and be responsible for putting him in office. Birds of a feather flock together and you are baracks kind.
EB, I'll be expecting you and all the other deceived Bush haters to one day write an apology to the body of christ for putting "gross darkness" in the white house. With his new change, you may never know the freedom of voting again. Why you think people are acting like children because your god didn't get our vote is beyond me. wonder what you would be saying if John McCain was elected?? Its easy to know by your words.

First of all, you all are nothing but hypocrites. The only reason you all put Obama in the spotlight is because he's Democrat. If you think I was going to vote for Sarah Palin or John McCain you were out of your mind....You can't tell me that they were the best candidates for this country. Obviously, Barack is the right leader for the crisis our country is currently facing...I voted Republican in every election but this one. Why? Because George Bush was a TERRIBLE PRESIDENT!

After reading this article the first question came to my mind was, why didn't a preacher or biblical leader say something like this. The answer is because you all are nothing but hypocrites...
Read this article and maybe this will tell you why people are losing faith in the Christianity.
Dr. Manis teaches at one of the colleges here in Macon, He writes good editorials. This was in the Macon Telegraph.
Dr. Manis
When Are WE Going to Get Over It?
For much of the last forty years, ever since America "fixed" its race problem in the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts, we white people have been impatient with African Americans who continued to blame race for their difficulties. Often we have heard whites ask, "When are African Americans finally going to get over it?
Now I want to ask: "When are we White Americans going to get over our ridiculous obsession with skin color?
Recent reports that "Election Spurs Hundreds' of Race Threats, Crimes" should frighten and infuriate every one of us. Having grown up in "Bombingham," Alabama in the 1960s, I remember ove rhearing an avalanche of comments about what many white classmates and their parents wanted to do to John and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Eventually, as you may recall, in all three cases, someone decided to do more than "talk the talk."
Since our recent presidential election, to our eternal shame we are once again hearing the same reprehensible talk I remember from my boyhood.
We white people have controlled political life in the disunited colonies and United States for some 400 years on this continent. Conservative whites have been in power 28 of the last 40 years. Even during the eight Clinton years, conservatives in Congress blocked most of his agenda and pulled him to the right. Yet never in that period did I read any headlines suggesting that anyone was calling for the assassinations of presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, or either of the Bushes. Criticize them, yes. Call for their impeachment, perhaps.
But there were no bounties on their heads. And even when someone did try to kill Ronald Reagan, the perpetrator was non-political mental case who wanted merely to impress Jody Foster.
But elect a liberal who happens to be Black and we're back in the sixties again. At this point in our history, we should be proud that we've proven what conservatives are always saying -that in America anything is possible, EVEN electing a black man as president. But instead we now hear that schoolchildren from Maine to California are talking about wanting to "assassinate Obama."
Fighting the urge to throw up, I can only ask, "How long?" How long before we white people realize we can't make our nation, much less the whole world, look like us? How long until we white people can -once and for all- get over this hell-conceived preoccupation with skin color? How long until we white people get over the demonic conviction that white skin makes us superior? How long before we white people get over our bitter resentme nts about being demoted to the status of equality with non-whites?
How long before we get over our expectations that we should be at the head of the line merely because of our white skin? How long until we white people end our silence and call out our peers when they share the latest racist jokes in the privacy of our white-only conversations?
I believe in free speech, but how long until we white people start making racist loudmouths as socially uncomfortable as we do flag burners? How long until we white people will stop insisting that blacks exercise personal responsibility, build strong families, educate themselves enough to edit the Harvard Law Review, and work hard enough to become President of the United States, only to threaten to assassinate them when they do?
How long before we starting "living out the true meaning" of our creeds, both civil and religious, that all men and women are created equal and that "red and yellow, black and white" all are precious in Go d's sight?
Until this past November 4, I didn't believe this country would ever elect an African American to the presidency. I still don't believe I'll live long enough to see us white people get over our racism problem. But here's my three-point plan:
First, everyday that Barack Obama lives in the White House that Black Slaves Built I'm going to pray that God (and the Secret Service) will protect him and his family from us white people.
Second, I'm going to report to the FBI any white person I overhear saying, in seriousness or in jest, anything of a threatening nature about President Obama.
Third, I'm going to pray to live long enough to see America surprise the world once again, when white people can "in spirit and in truth" sing of our damnable color prejudice, "We HAVE overcome."
Andrew Manis is author of Macon Black and White and serves on the steering committee of Macon's Center for Racial understanding.
It take a Village to protect our President!!!

God is not pleased with this nation and most of all He is not pleased with those of us that call ourselves Christians, nothing happens unless God allows it, if you don't believe read the book of Job and hear the conversation between Himself and satan. God has a hedge of protection around our President Elect Obama and his family and nothing is going to happen to him until God removes that hedge of protection. Steve Strang is a liar. He tries to make gullible people believe that African Americans magically got Barack Obama elected, and that African Americans are suddenly voting for Democratic candidates. Let’s debunk both of those myths with simple logic and statistical support.
Myth #1: African American support for Obama was unusually high.
Over the past 30 years African Americans, including black Christians, overwhelmingly vote Democrat. At a rate of around 90%. This is a fact. In the last election John Kerry pulled a little over 90% of the African American vote. Obama received approximately 95% of the African American vote. There is nothing highly unusual about 4-5 percentage points.
Myth #2: Obama won the election because of the African American vote, not the Caucasian vote.
We have already shown that historically around 90% of voting African Americans usually support the Democratic candidate. This election was no different save 4-5%, meaning the black vote carried about the same weight as in any other election. Strang’s assertion falls even flatter when we look at total voter make up. Whites are around 74-75% of the total voting population, African Americans 12-13%. In other words, if there were 5 individuals going to the polls, 4 of those people would most likely be white. Obama received around 45% of the total white vote, McCain 54%. Clearly it was the white vote, composing 74% of the voting bloc that carried Obama’s victory.
Strang also says Obama won by “only” 7 percentage points. Only? Obama crushed McCain by 8 million votes. As a side note, look at any election map to see where McCain drew strong numbers. There were two main constituencies: whites age 65 and older, and whites with high school level educations or below. What does that say about today’s Republican Party? Older, homogenous, and undereducated.
Strang is a con-artist. He is a dishonest man. I would trust very little he says. His credibility is at the level of pond scum.

Pres. Obama is a liberal, socialist, democrat. The god of the democrat party is Abortion. He is going to push that. The ACLU is the force of the democrat party to remove the real God from our society. He is going to push the homosexual agenda on America. The democrats will use their teacher's union to teach it in public schools. Our nation's moral decline is fast now, it's going to be accelerated with this president. I am very shocked with one of the anonymous comments in this blog. We still use very derogatory terms to reference African-Americans.
I think we Christians are in a dangerous place. Its not our place to judge another man's heart, but God's. It's our task to prayer for those who do not have a clear understanding of scripture. Praying that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit so that they too can understand scripture.
I am not thoroughly convinced that if a person believes it's a woman's choice to abort a child, that they are not a Christian. While, I would never abort a child, it's the woman's decision to make that choice. As Christians, we should not encourage abortions, however, its the woman's choice to decide to do whatever to their body.
Abortion is murder and if she chooses to abort a child, she has to deal with the negative consequences.
I don't think that President Obama's stance on abortion doesn't make him a Christian. I believe that he is a Christian and that our prayers will change his heart.

I take it from some of these comments thst because obama is a "christian" in some peoples eyes, that I can live any hellish way and still go to heaven. Death will not be in heaven and if you have the stench of death/abortion on your hands. you won't get in. So therefore, obama and those who voted for him are already eliminated from heaven because of it. I don't vote for anyone who supports abortion because if our country is going to continue to make it easier to kill, then we really can expect Gods hands to be removed from our country. SOmeone stated The return of Jesus needs to be delayed..heaven forbid, its only going to get worse. We are now living as the Bible talks of "last days" of children rebelling against authority, lovers of the same sex. You name it, we are in it big time. Theres no where in the Bible that says the "last times" will get better other than looking for the return of Jesus. I see young people that are committing suicide, always looking for something better. If this president has his way, the whole christian world will be destroyed then where is your hope? Looking for underground prayer meetings and Bible studies? Hillary has already stated christians have too much power and shes scared of us because she knows there in power in prayer, but her jezebel spirit is STILL going to influence our country through the white house. Satan put in who he wanted by deceiving the hearts and eyes of man. Come on america, wake up. Does barack being president now mean that all you christians who voted for him won't have to pray for him now that you say "Gods man is in"??? I hope not!! His color means nothing to people who want the best, BUT, HIS COLOR WON HIM THE PRESIDENCY,no matter what his supporter think.

I'm not going to beat around the bush on this issue, so here it goes. I believe that Obama won this election simply because of the color of his skin. People voted with their hearts not their heads. Christians who voted for Obama compromised their faith, we are not people who should condone abortion or gay rights, yet that is exactly what was done in the name of creating history. Now come all the excuses and reasons why people voted for him. The question is, does your choice align with the word of God? One thing is for sure, we are living in the end times, and things are not going to get better, they are going to keep getting worse. If anyone has read the book of revelation, then you know where this world is headed. So yes, we need to be praying, and trusting in God because His word does say that we see these things happening not to fear because they must happen. Remember folks, God is in control of all.

Who am I to question what the Lord has predestined. I really don't believe that the issue here is abortion, I believe that the real issue is that he is a black man. So Sad. Mr. Strang, I am praying for you, and I am praying for myself as well, that God will help me to stop being angry at your biased comments toward our next president, when the bible clearly stated that we should pray for those in authority, instead, you are bashing Mr. Obama. SO SAD!

I find this article so racist that I am speechless. I am encouraging all those with whom I have influence to cancel all subscriptions to Charisma. Why are you asking only black leaders to speak up? Where was your outrage at Katrina? G W Bush opened his doors to all clergy... Obama has already opened his doors to white clergy, hense you have RICK WARREN doing the inaugural prayer. If you have a message to tell Obama, stop trying to send black preachers like they were servents, get up and go YOURSELF! What a glimps into a bigotted heart!!! I am shocked and grossly disappointed, mortified and finished with Charisma.

I have had enough of the hype on Obama. Just because he is a negro doesn't mean he is a god. I don't care if he is purple, his morals and beliefs are putting our freedom at stake. Will I pray for him??? You betcha! We better pray more for this president than ever before. My grandbabies future is at stake. Because he is the first BLACK MAN elected president he is full of pride and we all know what pride does. I pray God bless america because we need Gods blessing like never before. Help us Jesus and come soon to get us out of this evil world!!!
Response #1
If the person who wrote the above statement is truly an adult who claims to be a Christian, then, the Body of Christ has A LONG WAY TO GO.
Response #2
To Chris who shared the editorial by Dr. Manis----the editorial pretty much sums it up.
Although I do not agree with Mr. Obama's stance on social policies AND did not vote for him, I believe that this election represented many (not all) Caucasians' worst fear---having a black man (or a man who is half black) sitting in the seat of REAL, BONAFIDE earthly authority.
Many (not all) can't handle the idea of actually submitting to leadership (be it spiritual, political or otherwise) if the leadership has a black face. This is understandable if one has an attitude that their white skin color makes them superior to anyone that does not look like them.
If anyone has anything to learn from this election---it is the Body of Christ. This election is showing the ugly in our hearts---white and black.
Caucasians (saved or unsaved) will continue to have a hard time embracing the concept of a black person in such a position of authority as long as the very same problem exists in the Body of Christ.
As the Church goes, so goes the world.
However, we will see a unified and sanctified Body of Christ when ALL members are able and willing to submit one to another----regardless of skin color. Until then, the racism conversation will only continue.
Response #3
I hope believers don't think that once they get to heaven they are automatically going to love everybody.
I once heard a minister give his theory on there being school in heaven and what we don't learn here, we will have to learn there. Of course, there is no biblically foundation for this and it was only his opinion. However, I wouldn't be surprised if God had it set up that way.
Seriously, if there is racism in our minds/hearts (souls) and our souls rests within our spirits, it would appear that we can conclude that whatever is in our souls at the time our spirits transition into eternity, will be there once we have 'crossed over.' Somehow, I don't think that we are going to magically mature in the fruits of the Spirit at that point. A maturing process has to take place in order to grow the fruit of love in one's heart. Just a thought.

I never voted for Obama as of course as a Christian I could simply not accept MORE abortions instead of LESS abortions. I could not condone and promote any marriage except Man/Woman marriage. Frankly, I have had a very difficult time in accepting major Christian leaders that are leading the flock and supposedly are preaching the full unvarnished, uncompromising word of God that do not follow this handbook of truth in selecting their leaders. Do not let anyone make you feel guilty for standing upon the truth of the scriptures.
What concerns me now as it does millions of Americans is that president-elect Obama has not turned in the necessary birth-certificate of proof that would prove or not prove his eligibility to be our President. In fact, he has spent millions trying to fight this. Why? If we don't ask these questions, WHO WILL? A great man of God, ALAN KEYES is asking questions along with many of the lawsuits that have been filed by him and numerous others concerning this. I am very unhappy with Christian leaders as well as Americans in general, for not being outspoken on this simple little matter of "UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION OF THESE UNITED STATES" .... The minute Obama takes the oath of office to uphold our constitution .... as Keyes has said "He no longer is upholding the constitution." Matthew 7:17-20... (Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.... A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit..... Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them.) .... Is Obama a good tree? ..... If he is a 'Usurper' of this office .... then, how could he be?
Sorry, I am stumbling over this one. I do not have a problem praying for this leader to do his utmost best for our nation. I just hope he is legitimate.

Dear Mr. Strang:
I appreciate Dr. Munroe’s voice to provide a more balanced, biblical perspective of how many, bible-believing black Americans feel about the recent election and America’s first black President. WE ARE PROUD.
Besides being a very intelligent, composed politician, Obama reached and spoke to groups of Americans previously ignored by politicians - especially Republicans.
Remember that prior to this election, 85% of blacks voted Democratic. THIS WAS NOT
REVERSE RACISM. We cannot ignore the facts.
I did not vote for Obama, but I do pray for his success because ultimately, it is our success as a nation.

I have a concern that since Mr Obama has been elected as a representative of the Black people and has become a symbol of a victory over racism that his legacy will in fact be a key in future race relations. If he is an honorable man and moves the nation in a positive direction racism will diminish. If he does in fact move the country away from righteousness and into humanistic, ungodly evils, than he as the symbol of his race will also bring that judgement into a racial arena.

You go, JillBobGirl! I think you had a great comment. Another thing that concerns me, is that everyone that voted and feels that obama is God appointed man for the hour is deceived.God cannot and will not go against peoples will.God doesn't promote others to go against the word of God. I believe people hated Pres Bush so much that they had already made up their mind that they were voting democrat, and then there were the black who felt it was their time to shine. I have absolutely no problem with the color of a person but I do have a problem with character no matter what the color. If Obama was white I still wouldn't have voted for him because of his moral stand. I will not be responsible for putting anyone into office who WILLINGLY helps abortion be more rampant. I can stand before God and say, "no sir, I did not elect one who would agree its ok to kill innocent babies" If God was in control of this earth he would wipe up out just like Sodom & Gomorrah for all the sins we have committed against him. Gods will is that we would be a christian country and turn from our wicked ways and if we acknowledge the truth we all have some turning to do and we better hope the president elect turns to God for change.
Also, the writer at 3:54 today is correct. Why pray for someone who has a hardened heart and surrounds himself with the same kind? They aren't interested in changing to Gods way, only the way they feel the country should go to benefit their own fleshy greed.
Kudos to Steven Strang for opening up the forum to let us vent. Those who slander him should stay off here, freedom of speech may be outlawed sooner than we think if this new administration does to the conservative talk shows that they say they are going to do. We need to pray for God to open all our eyes and see how the enemy has distracted us to get control of our freedom in America. God Bless the USA.

I am greatly dismayed that so many well known christian leaders across many denominational backgrounds have seemingly been seduced by the eloquent words and condescending rhetoric of Obama; not to mention that a Jewish, lifelong Democrat attorney, www.obamacrimes.com (A MUST READ)has been waging a judicial war all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, demanding that Obama prove his 'Natural Born Status' in order to serve as a 'qualified' President-Elect which he has failed to do and who has jumped through multiple legal hoops in order to block this information from being proven. All research currently points to the fact that he is NOT QUALIFIED because he is NOT A 'NATURAL BORN CITIZEN' and is therefore ineligible to serve as President. (All this is posted on www.obamacrimes.com) Wake up all you pacifist Christians who think NOT getting involved in our political process is being Godly. The enemy has again usurped the authority of our Constitutional and Godly heritage and hoodwinked the American people into voting into office the most liberal and anti-moral person in the history of our country and who literally bought his Presidency with huge amounts of illegal contributions from many muslim countries/donors (documented)thereby out spending McCain almost 3 to 1 (yet only beat him by 9% in the general election). The man who would be President stated on National TV that he'd campaigned in all but one of the [57] STATES IN THE UNITED STATES. Now there are 57 MUSLIM COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD! And FINALLY, in a interview with George Stephanopoulos on prime time TV, Obama stated that "He appreciated that McCain did not make an issue out of "MY MUSLIM FAITH!" to which George paused then corrected him by saying, "You mean your Christian Faith." Obama then corrected himself. "OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKETH." Have many of the 'ELECT' Christian leaders of America been [deceived] by this man who boldly calls himself by his MUSLIM name, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA? I think Forest Gump said it best, "Stupid is as stupid does!"

Being Brazilian and against abortion does not lend credence to your opinions regarding race.
Also, I do not see Jesus in the NT rallying followers to the causes of the day (abortion existed in NT times. In taking down people's idols, He established true worship and that creates the changes in individuals and thus society. When people are alive to righteousness, they don't get abortions). Jesus was after more than fighting people and issues.
Further, I don't see the relevance of focusing on two issues to the exclusion of the rest of the commands of the gospel. The world is the world and acts like the world. Should the redeemed act like the redeemed, the world would see the church as something to be drawn to, they would smell life. Instead most see "religious" christians as people who condemn and berate others for doing wrong things and not doing the right things. They smell a rat. They smell death.
You cannot legislate righteousness. I do not want a Christian version of Iran, perhaps some due.

Let's think about this??? Think about Social Security are we thinking??? Let"s go we are having the mess we are in because of all the abortions that have been performed over the years. Think about it if those babies were allowed to live and grow into viable working adults and paying taxes and Social Security benefits it would not be in the mess its in today. We the American people have allowed these things to happen. Our country can only do what we allow them to. If we keep sitting back and allowing our President, Congress, House of Representatives The Supreme Court, Senators, Mayors, Govenors, Councilman, Assemblymen &(women)who are doing what they personally feel like putting into law, disregarding our thoughts or feelings on the issue. Look at California for example. Why are we in court for voting against Proposition 8 that Marraige is between a man and a woman. Know why because they the court are saying who cares about what you voted for. Its about what we want. Your vote does'nt matter to use. The people voted no!!! This is what I'm getting at no President has a right to go into office and do away with laws with one swift flow of a pen and do away with issues that we have fought so hard for. We as a nation are going to loss alot of our rights as viable citizens of a country that suppose to be a land of the free. If we sit back and let this happen shame on us. Do we have a voice and a say in anything concerning America. STAND UP AND BE HEARD before its to late. Oh yea because the next President is Black you think he's going to be better, he will have his challanges just like all the other presidents before him. WE THE PEOPLE ARE WHATS MAKES THIS COUNTRY GREAT. NOT ONE MAN.

pulleco,
Your comments are bang on. It seems Christians today have become increasingly selective of Scripture. In the Acts of the Apostles, the leaders (whom the Apostles were supposed to pray for) ordered them not to speak about Jesus or the Gospel. And they replied, "Whether it is right in the sight of God for us to obey you rather than God, you be the judges. It is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard." And they disobeyed their leaders because their conscience called them to a higher law. Pray for Obama, yes. But elect him based on his skin color? Few Americans realize that Obama is a great supporter of Planned Parenthood whose founder, Margaret Sanger, used abortion to reduce the black population. The irony is stunning. The reality is tragic. Christians... wake up!

Anonymous: ... thank-you for your comments that I totally agree with. Yes, this hatred of President Bush was so rampant that I definitely believe it had much to do with everyone getting on the bandwagon for Obama. They were not even going to question any of all the red flags that were waving wildly and you can name them one by one. We all heard about them: Ayers, Alinsky, Wright, Rezko and I lost count. Foreign donations via the Internet that were untraceable to whom was the donor. Obama's maternal uncle Odinga in Kenya who lost the election there just one year ago and because of it, his followers killed Christians, used machetes, set fire to an Assembly of God church with women and children in it. President-elect Obama campaigned for Odinga. Pictures are on the Internet of them together. I only listen to Fox for the news. Of course, the msm never acknowledged the importance of these issues. Hannity touched on most of them but even he would not discuss the Odinga/Kenya story.
Obama, knew that America was ready for a black President. He knew that even the U.S. Supreme Court Justices would back away from upholding the constitution and acknowledging the truth and lack of evidence of the Birth-certificate eligibility. I guess they were afraid of the rioting! Better now than later. At present we still have law enforcement.
Yes, I am thankful to Stephen Strang for allowing us to comment on these issues. I have a lot of respect for him. He was the first Christian leader to stand up and endorse my candidate of choice in the early primaries. Other Christians leaders were 'one big disappointment' as they never got involved or picked the wrong candidate. It seems to me that they just stood 'afar off' and watched the whole process unfold and did nothing.
As you said, I also have no problem with the color of ones skin. As I previously mentioned, I highly respect Alan Keyes and other black leaders. It is indeed all about the character of the man.
I will pray for our nation but, like you, and others that commented here ... I am not sure that pres-elect Obama is seeking a change of heart or ever will. Lots to pray about more than ever! May God show his mercy and grace upon America even though we are not worthy. I only know ONE Messiah and that is Jesus Christ. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!

Urgent Abortion Initiative!
I understand the Church's concern of God sending death, destruction, and judgment to America for the blood guilt of abortion, and for electing Barack Obama. Since abortion is THE most important issue, it will take radical action from the Church to overturn it before God sends judgment.
Here is an idea: dissenting Christians should move from America to a country where abortion is strictly outlawed. And from that guiltless country, which has taken the righteous stance on abortion, fervently pray for American to overturn Roe v. Wade. Christians should have the opportunity to raise families in a nation that is not stained with the blood of innocent lives. Below is a list of countries that have currently outlawed abortion. These places would be a perfect environment to raise families far from the stain of America's guilt and coming judgment from God:
South America: Colombia, Chile, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Venezuela
Africa: Angola, Benin, Chad, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea- Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mali, Mauretania, Mauritius, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Egypt, Libya, Sudan
Middle East: Afghanistan, Iran, Lebanon, Oman, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen
Asia and Pacific: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka
As these nations are free of the bloodguilt of abortion they will be ideal locations to raise healthy, happy children, and to seek prosperity.
It's funny how most of the righteous anti-abortion nations in the above list are filled with oppressive dictatorships, severe human rights violations, suspensions of freedom and civil liberties, tyranny, corruption, genocide, brutality, government sponsored terrorism, tribal warfare, abject poverty, and all manner of chaos and violence.
Yet God, in His divine and infinite wisdom has His eye set on America for condemnation, judgment, and destruction because of Roe v. Wade and because we elected Barack Obama to be President. I think with a little carful and logical thought, we might be thanking God for having the privilege to be born and raised in America, and to participate in democracy. Let's support our new President and strengthen the nation. Please cue the chants of "USA! USA! USA!"

Obviously Obama will listen to different points of views. He is reaching out to conservatives, evangelicals, etc. But he is looking for reasonable and temperate people in different camps to converse; not the haters and screamers. Last summer God, in his grace, brought to Brazil, especially to visit me, a high ranking American official. He told me that he does not want us to become what Americans have become: materialistic, individualistic and egocentric. Yes, we have serious problems, including far-reaching socialist policies dominating our society. Yet, God has a group of people crying and praying.
Also last summer, Chuck Pierce was with us in São Paulo, and he had a vision. He told us that he saw Jesus leaving America and heading for Brazil. He also saw America losing her national anointing. He saw Jesus bringing this national anointing to Brazil.
I recognize: God has made some great things in America in the past. Yet, many Americans, including Christians, think that only America can be great. God hates arrogance, and it is filling American hearts! America is NOT the only country God can use.
I pray that God, through our supplications, may deliver Brazil from the socialist stronghold. This month I and several national leaders in Brazil prayed in a mountain, and Chuck Pierce sent a special message to us about the national destiny of Brazil. We prayed that God may have mercy of Brazil. We know that the Brazilian government is in sin and darkness. But there is a big difference: America and her government know the truth, and are rejecting it. Brazil is beginning to know it.
Whether or not America will recover her national anointing is irrelevant now. Americans should supplicate God to deliver her from the stronghold of the socialist enchantment.

I find it odd that you are so concerned with the subject of homosexuality when Jesus himself apparently thought it so insignificant that he never once mentioned it himself. How about all that sin of divorce among the legally married Americans? Marriage in America is a legal pact. It is only a religious issue when people make it one.

Sodomy was not an issue in the places where Jesus used to minister. In the Jewish cities where Jesus preached, sodomy was insignificant. It was not accepted among Jews. So there was NO need for Jesus to address it. Note that Jesus also never directly addressed the subject of sexual abuse of children. There was no need, because he, as the pre-existent Word of God, had spoken abundantly on the sex subject in the Old Testament.
Today, very differently from the Jewish places where Jesus preached, there is a homosexual obsession. America is obsessed by sodomy. And America wants the whole world obsessed too. Even though Bush showed that he was not a president obsessed by it, many American institutions that have worldwide influence (including Hollywood, the mother of the prostitutes in the earth) effectively spread their sodomy, adultery, prostitution “gospel”. I am very sorry to tell that America today spread much more this “gospel” worldwide than the true Gospel.
The Brazilian legal and political obsession with sodomy is directly traceable to America, as my book (published by the Brazilian branch of the Bethany House Publishers) shows. Unfortunately, Brazil is a disciple of this “gospel”, and the following verse can be applied to Obama, Hollywood and other American institutions spreading it:
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.” (Mt 23:15 NKJV)

I am sick and tired of hearing you all saying that Blacks voted for Barack because he was black. You are all wrong. Yes there was a large contingent who did, but, the majority of well educated and knowlegeable blacks knew that McCain and Palin were not the best choice for our country....by the way there were alot of Whites who voted for McCain because he was white, just go to Western Pa or some parts of the deep south, talk about that..Everyone tends to forget that Barack was not really on the Radar until after Iowa, Hillary Clinton had more followers in the black community than Barack. So get off the political racial ideology...Secondly, it is amazing that no one is putting White pastors on the platform for not REALLY CONFRONTING, racism, poverty in America, and sexism...Just ask the Native Americans...
As for Abortion and Homosexuality I believe God is going to Convict men and women through the image of a sound marriage seen in Michelle & Barack Obama. As Christians lets try to get God's law written in our hearts and not so much on paper...Furthermore, get over it...God put Barack in office and you all know it was the best choice...Our nation and world could not have handled a McCain, Palin government....it would have been pure Hell in our nation and world.

Once again an intensely stupid article by Steve Strang. Strang titles his article “A Call to Christian Leaders to Speak Up to Our New President.” Then he proceeds to name and show pictures of the six BLACK leaders he feels would be most effective. Is Steve a complete idiot? Does he really think just because these ministers share the same skin color as Obama that he will be more inclined to listen to them? Does Strang have the mentality of a kindergartner or is he just simply a bigot?
Steve Strang obviously has the mental capacity of child and is also a bigot. Only a child or bigot would draw the conclusion that these men because of their skin color “could gain access.” Anyone who still takes Strang seriously must also have the mentality of a child.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Their faces and darker skins make them look different. They are routinely called "slave" by the majority, whatever their profession. But Iraq's black population hopes that Barack Obama's rise to the White House will mark a turning point for minorities not just in the United States, but also in their country.
Jalal Thiyab Thijeel, general secretary of the "Movement of Free Iraqis," followed every detail of Obama's election campaign. "Inspiring," he calls it. Inspiring politically, and personally. Like Obama, Thijeel has family roots in Africa.
"We told our people, Inshalla, God willing, Obama is going to win, and if he wins, it will be a victory for all black people in the world," he recalls. "We're going to make him a model to follow. Even our old women were praying for him to win."
When news broke that Obama had won the election, it was early in the morning of November 5 in Basra -- but Thijeel excitedly called a fellow member of his political party.
It was a moment, he tells me as we talk on a street in Baghdad, that he'll never forget. "Now we, the dark-skinned people, feel even closer to the American people because Obama is one of us."
Thijeel's organization estimates there are approximately 2 million black Iraqis. The country's total population is more than 28 million, most of them ethnic Arabs. It's impossible to verify Thijeel's estimate, since the government does not keep statistics on race, but there is no denying there are many black Iraqis in the southern city of Basra.
Their history goes back 1,000 years to the time when Africans were brought as slaves to the south of Iraq to drain marshes and build Basra.
Many Iraqis still call blacks "abed," an Arabic word that means "slave." Thijeel grimaces when he pronounces it. It's demeaning, he says, and he wants the government to forbid its use. Many white Iraqis claim the word isn't meant to offend, but Thijeel says they have no idea how hurtful it is. "I never want my son to go through this," he says. Watch what Obama means to some Iraqis »
He also wants his son -- and his daughters -- to have access to good jobs, something that is not the case now, he says. In Basra, many black Iraqis have menial jobs. Although no one can point to any official discrimination, there are no black members of the Iraqi parliament.
The Movement of Free Iraqis was founded two years ago and on January 31 it will run the first slate of black candidates in Iraq's modern history.
Thijeel hands me the party's documents that spell out its demands. Foremost is that the government recognize blacks as an official minority in Iraq. This is key, because power in Iraq is apportioned along ethnic, religious and even tribal lines. The party also wants an apology for slavery, although it is not asking for financial reparations. The movement also wants laws to combat racial discrimination.
The party has found some nonblack political allies. Awad Al-Abdan of the National Dialogue Front says, "There's been social oppression for a long time. We have a tribal-based society and, according to traditions and customs, the black man is considered to have lower status."
Some white Iraqis say that founding a political party on racial lines is divisive, especially when Iraqis of different communities need to pull together. But Thijeel, quoting Barack Obama, says it's time for change. Although he's speaking in Arabic, he uses the English word "change."
"There's a change in international politics," he tells me. "Obama won, and not that long ago, in his country, black people were marginalized, so this event has shattered all barriers." (END)
AMAZING. THANK YOU JESUS!!!

Dear Cynthiacares. I am the anonomous that you refer to in your comment. I rebuke you for calling me a racist! Some of my best friends are black and I have a very high respect for them. Their color doesn't mean a thing to me, BUT their character does and their beliefs and morals do! You are apparantly the racist because if we don't agree with the election of obama..we are racists. God has better black men such as Alan Keys that is spirit filled and led by God..unlike barack. Who cares what color they are...will he keep America the land of the free? Oh, and by the way, I am a co-pastor at a very large church that is filled with ALL colors and races and we have a beautiful love and respect for one another and we walk in UNITY. Oh, one more thing, there wasn't one of our black brothers or sisters that voted for obama because they realize he is NOT God's man for this job. I pray for you and your lack of what Gods word says.

You are the one who is deceived if you truly believe that you control all the black "brothers and sisters" in your church. Question: How many of those black brothers and sisters are in leadership?
Strang is a child,
You hit the nail on the head. His racism is showing. This election has brought out the ugly in the hearts of the church members. Strang asked why no one said anything to Kim Daniels when she made her foolish comments. Perhaps they realized, Obama is elected--why bother?
Why did these "leaders" not see far in advance that Obama was God's man? Why didn't they hear God long ago? That showed me plenty about all of them.
Why did they kick against God's will? Those who stick by the false prophets and the blind will be led into ditch with them. NOT ME and my house. We will serve THE LORD. And we will reoice in the will of GOD. AMEN

Dear love my country. The answer to your question is..more than 80%are involved in leadership in our church and they are highly respected.By the way, we are a black congregation. One thing different about our people is that they have learned the biblical way of respecting and honoring their pastors. We all respect the office of the president, but the new president will be going against Gods word. If you listened to some of the comments from attendees at the inauguration today, their comment was." we thought we'd never see a black man in the white house". There is absolutely no problem with that and praise God that was a possibility today but the wrong black man is in. This wasn't an election on the new president being qualified for the job, it was "we want a black man no matter who he is". Our prayers are that he will turn his heart to God while in office. They are a lovely family, just need some changes in his decisions on abortion and other items. God didn' elect a man to put our country in jeopardy of his wrath because of the abortion issue. The Bible says' satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. I have come to give life and give it more abundantly. Does that sound like God is contradicting his own word? I think not. This is our country and we should want the best but not by just putting a black man in because he is the first black man. God Bless America. Its seems our black brother thinks character, morals and a Godly life is not important. Its your grandchildren and greatgrandchildren that don't have a chance when he signs his name to the abortion bill. My heart cries for the unborn and you and others who put the president in will come face to face with those babies when you step in heaven.

Did anyone read the prayer from Kimberly Daniels on the Charisma site today? Its awesome. I can't understand how she believed Mr Obama was not the right choice for president and she is a black woman who heard from God. I think we all need to get on our knees and repent for our judgemental spirit towards our brothers and sisters. Jesus loves us all but does have specifics we have to follow and there seems to be a lot of them broken from the comments on here.

Thanks so much to the above three individuals who posted comments. I am sure there is others I can agree with. But if you read their comments, then you know how I stand.
I have lived a number of years and have never voted for a Democrat in my life because their political ideologies are not consistent with my own. So I am not going to start voting for one just because I say "Its time for a black man" ... President Obama was the most liberal of all Senators. He could be black, yellow, red or white and still would not get my vote. It has nothing to do with being a racist. It has everything to do with standing on real biblical Christian values. My allegiance is to God Almighty first and what his word says about abortion and traditional family marriages. I would have been thrilled if this bright, articulate, fine Christian man as Alan Keyes was our president. Those like me believe that the black race deserves better as they have more qualified men with higher Christian principles than Pres. Obama.
Upon saying all this, I will be praying for President Obama that the Holy Spirit will reveal all truth to him through God's Holy scriptures. But as Tom Winfield said above in so many words: "Do we have any guarantees that Pres. Obama wants to change and if so, how long will it take? What will America have to go through first? God does not overpower anyone to force his will upon them."
It is too late to undo what has been done in this election. I am just afraid that America cannot be blessed with endorsing this slaughter of the unborn, innocent babies. But as Christians, we must work til Jesus comes.
God bless you Stephen Strang for all you are doing to advance the Kingdom of God! You were the first Christian leader who picked and supported a great Christian leader in the early presidential primaries. If your other Christian leader brothers had of followed suit, then we could be writing another story today (I am speaking about many of the white Christian leaders as well).

If people would pray rather than assume, rather than make judgments based on their own hearts, then they would have a different heart, which would speak different words than we see here.
Who am I, just a little person who prayed to God, and heard from God many months ago during the primaries. I am not the big "prophets," the ones that said Obama was the antichrist or said John McCain would be miraculously put in.
I prayed with an open heart for guidance about my vote, and God said to me that Obama was the man with the right heart to do the right thing for this country. And through all natural odds, one large one being his race, God put him in office. Why didn't the apostles and prophets know? The answer is: some of them did, but they were not celebrated here like the ones who said what the hearts of the extreme Republicans and the racists wanted.
Race was used against him, and still is. But God prevailed, of course. Strang seems very angry at black Christians who voted for Obama--that's too bad. I got a real sense of who the true spokesmen for God were during this election. A lot showed out. There are those I do not listen to any more because they didn't pray for an answer, but let their political party or racism speak to their hearts. They owed us all to pray and speak what God says, they did not deliver. I am so disappointed with them. But not so much that I won't continue to enjoy this wonderful victory.
Praise God!

Racism in the pews
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson
© 2009
The palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. — Thomas Paine
In my recent column "Pulpit Racism Leads Blacks To Destruction," I dealt with the racism coming from many black preachers.
The hate-filled anti-American sermons of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and other wolves in sheep's clothing have been exposed. Yet, there still remains an unspoken disease infecting the black church – the racism in the pews.
So, why do so many black "Christians" follow false, racist preachers?
The black church used to be the backbone of the black community. Faith in God helped black Americans endure slavery and Jim Crow.
But over the last 40 years, the black church has undergone a metamorphosis. Government social programs introduced in the '60s by liberal Democratic politicians seduced black men into relying on "programs" over God.
Black men were deceived into leaving their homes in order for the women and children to receive welfare. As a result, the moral fiber of the man who left and the abandoned family were weakened.
Meanwhile, welfare gave the black woman a false sense of empowerment and independence. She felt as though she no longer needed a husband to provide.
The missing father left a vacuum and created a rift between black men and women. The black man's weakness in this area set him up to be an object of scorn.
The resentment of the woman for the missing father was passed down to the children. And government and black preachers stepped into this cycle of dysfunction to become the "daddy" of the family.
The corrupt and hungry black preacher is like a ravenous wolf that devours the souls of his congregants so he can build more lavish churches and acquire greater wealth.
Seeing the hypocrisy and evil in the churches, many decent men left – much like they had abandoned their families. Absent the leadership of God-fearing, upstanding men, the congregation was weak and susceptible to the corrupt preacher. The weaker they became, the more they looked for scapegoats (i.e., the "evil white man") to explain away their failures.
One need only look at Rev. Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ and many other black churches to see this lie being played out.
The false black preacher is only too happy to reinforce the idea of the white man as scapegoat. His sermons make the congregation angrier and more bitter. And the angrier they become, the easier it is for the minister to control them.
Since the exodus of men, black preachers have retooled their message to play to women's egos.
Bishop T.D. Jakes, for instance, has built an empire by targeting the emotional needs of women. His popular books include "Loose That Man & Let Him Go" and "The Lady, Her Lover, Her Lord."
Worse, Jakes has empowered women to assume leadership positions within the church, despite clear biblical admonitions against it.
"Prophetess" Juanita Bynum is one who credits Jakes for her success.
Bynum is a well-known aggressive evangelist whose emotional style appeals to many churchgoing black women. She has bragged about how tough she is, telling an audience of women to be like "bull dogs" and "the Mafia." Yet last year, she claimed to have been beaten by her estranged husband, Bishop Thomas Weeks III. She then appeared on "Oprah," crying and announcing that God has called her to be the "face of domestic abuse"!
Deep down Jakes and Bynum have to know that this is not God's order, but their pride has made it easy for them to accept the lie that they're doing God's work.
The increased feminization of the church has further weakened it, allowing racism to tighten its grip. As a result, most black "Christians" are now convinced that Jesus was black.
The Rev. Cecil "Chip" Murray (retired), of A.M.E. Church in Los Angeles and others funded "The Color of the Cross," a movie that had as its premise the idea that Jesus was a black man killed by Europeans as a direct result of "racism."
People like Rev. Murray and Rev. Wright hate the white man so much that if Jesus were indeed white, they'd deny him outright. This obsession with race has infiltrated the black church to the point that many churches now celebrate the godless, phony holiday Kwanzaa.
It's abnormal for any man to have a leader other than God and Christ. But the lack of faith of many black Americans is driving them to seek the "love" (enslavement) of a leader.
The Bible talks about a period in ancient Israel when God's people had no king and "… every man did that which was right in his own eyes" (Judges 21:25).
As the population grew more corrupt, they demanded a leader just like the black community does today. Saul became their king, but he followed the will of the corrupt nation over the will of his Creator.
The way back for black America is as it was for the early Israelites: They must forgive and turn away from their sins and wicked leaders. Free men and women need no human leaders because once people have been forgiven, their hearts are healed, their minds are free, and they are able to see clearly the path ahead.

This Jesse Lee Peterson is one of those "black mascots" hired by people like HANNITY to say ugly, negative things about black people. It's just like the "black leaders" Strang uses to do the same thing. Those people are not considered leaders by black people. They are considered ridiculous, slaves, with very low self esteem, bought for a price; and this one Peterson--the way he speaks I doubt he was able to even write this article. He was probably put forth by some racists as the writer. They are laughing at him.
This is the most divisive article yet, full of hate and insults, accusations and lies. It is disgusting, and I wonder if Strang will allow it to stay in his "Christian" blog. He has said the most ugly, filthy, disgusting things yet about black people I have seen in this or any blog. Is this Strang's spokesperson?

Obama Begins Full Court Press on Extremist Homosexual Agenda Within Minutes After Oath of Office
Lynchburg, VA – Literally within minutes after President Obama took the oath of office yesterday, the official White House webpage was updated – under the heading of “Civil Rights” – to detail Obama’s wholesale “support for the LGBT (homosexual activist) community.” His stated plans include the following:
· Defeating all state and federal constitutional efforts to defend the millennia-old definition of natural marriage;
· Repealing the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) signed by Bill Clinton – the only line of defense keeping all 50 states from being forced to recognize so-called “same-sex marriages” from extremely liberal states like Massachusetts and Connecticut;
· Repealing the military’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy;
· Passing constitutionally dubious and discriminatory “hate crimes” legislation, granting homosexuals and cross dressers special rights – denied other Americans – based on changeable sexual behaviors;
· Passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) which would force business owners (religious and otherwise) to abandon traditional values relative to sexual morality under penalty of law; and,
· Creating intentionally motherless and fatherless homes and sexually confusing untold thousands of children by expanding “gay adoption.”
Matt Barber, Director of Cultural Affairs with both Liberty Alliance Action and Liberty Counsel released the following statement today in response to Obama’s stated pro-homosexual agenda:
“Well, the high-sheen veneer and ‘cult of personality’ euphoria surrounding Barack Obama looks to be dissolving rather quickly. While millions had hoped for a political ‘messiah,’ it’s rapidly becoming evident that, instead, we’ve stuck ourselves with an extreme leftist ideologue whose brand of ‘change we can believe in’ is, in reality, ‘change we never imagined.’
“For all the talk of ‘hope,’ ‘change’ and ‘coming together,’ it’s becoming abundantly clear that Barack Obama’s administration will likely be the most leftist, divisive and discriminatory in recent memory. I suspect the immediate, stark and ‘in your face’ changes made to the White House website are a metaphor for what we can expect, in terms of policy, from his administration.
“The gravity of this situation cannot be overstated. Right out of the shoot, Obama has told the world that he is signing off, without exception, on every demand of the extremist homosexual and transsexual lobbies. The radical homosexual agenda and religious and free speech liberties cannot occupy the same space. It’s a zero-sum game. When 1 - 2 percent of the population is granted special rights based on deviant sexual proclivities and changeable sexual behaviors, to the detriment of everyone else, that’s called tyranny of the minority. People of faith and those of you with traditional values: hold on to your hats – it’s going to be a bumpy four years,” concluded Barber.

Love my country seems to assume that because she/he heard from God, that the rest of us who didn't vote for obama didn't pray and didn't hear from God. I heard from God through prayer, convictions and knowledge that was available on obama. When there are three "not the man" confirmations, I know how God wanted me to vote. You can't honestly say that God told you to vote for a man who is going to give more freedom on the gay/lesbian agenda and more freedom to commit murder/abortions.We will all stand accountable to God very soon on what we did/didn't do to further his kingdom. What will your answer be to him on why you put someone in who goes against the word of God?

Newly updated White House website - section on "women"
http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/women/
Excerpts:
* Supporting Stem Cell Research: President Obama and Vice President
Biden believe that we owe it to the American public to explore the potential
of stem cells to treat the millions of people suffering from debilitating
and life-threatening diseases. Obama is a co-sponsor of the Stem Cell
Research Enhancement Act of 2007, which will allow research of human
embryonic stem cells derived from embryos donated (with consent) from in
vitro fertilization clinics. These embryos must be deemed in excess and
created based solely for the purpose of fertility treatment.
Reproductive Choice
* Supports a Woman's Right to Choose: President Obama understands that
abortion is a divisive issue, and respects those who disagree with him.
However, he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will
make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority in his
Adminstration. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the
Supreme Court's decision in that case.
* Preventing Unintended Pregnancy: President Obama was an original
co-sponsor of legislation to expand access to contraception, health
information, and preventive services to help reduce unintended pregnancies.
Introduced in January 2007, the Prevention First Act will increase funding
for family planning and comprehensive sex education that teaches both
abstinence and safe sex methods. The Act will also end insurance
discrimination against contraception, improve awareness about emergency
contraception, and provide compassionate assistance to rape victims.

NO ONE can ever cry "Ignorance" on the stance that Obama took with pro-life, pro-family issues. The Christian community spoke loud and clear on these issues and I and others have been warning people over and over again for a full year in our world of the Internet, etc. Evidently, the eagerness to put an African-American into office took precedence over anything that God had to say.
Where did the word come from that told us that it was okay? Did we check the scriptures to back it up? I don't think so. In the book of Revelation we are warned about adding to and taking away of the divinely inspired written word of God. Jesus warned of harming the little children (Matthew 18:6) Yes, little children in the womb. If we never heard another word, wouldn't this be enough??
If we acknowledge our sins before him as we all have to do, then He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But we still may have to reap what we have sowed.
Yes, I look at this couple Barack and Michelle, and I think what a lovely couple and they seem so likable. But the convicting power of the word of God, told me NO.

Miracles of the Obamic faith
Olavo de Carvalho
Mídia Sem Máscara, November 1, 2008
Note—Last Saturday, my son Pedro and a friend of his were verbally abused and threatened with physical aggression by a group of more than twenty Obamaniacs in downtown Richmond, Virginia, for the simple reason that my son's friend wore a McCain-Palin T-shirt. They were able to escape in my son's car, but were chased for several blocks by the group of fanatics. This is change we can believe in.
Nothing like this has ever been seen before in human history.
At war with revolutionary Islam, the nearly victorious country is preparing to appoint as its commander in chief a politician enthusiastically supported by Al-Qaeda1, Hamas, the Palestine Liberation Organization, Iranian president Ahmadinejad, Muhamar Khadafi, Fidel Castro2, Hugo Chávez, and by all anti-American, pro-Communist, and pro-terrorist forces of the world, without any visible exception.
It is exactly as if, at the height of the Vietnam War, America had elected a Ho-Chi-Minh sweetheart to the White House.
Yet, if you dare to suggest, even mildly, that so many enemies of the United States are in favor of Obama because he must be at least a tiny bit in favor of them, half of the American voters will say you are a hopeless racist, and a goodly portion of the other half will call you deranged, paranoid, and a conspiracy theorist.
It is forbidden to apply to Obama the old common sense rule, “The friend of my enemy is my enemy.” In order to prove their sanity, Americans must piously believe that Obama will do nothing, absolutely nothing in favor of Communists and Islamofascists who love him, but will do everything to defend the nation that he called “Nazi” and the Constitution, which, according to him, is the cause of terrible evils.
If you think that the wager on the Obamic faith is too high and that it would be more prudent to take a closer look at his life, you should realize that this has become practically impossible. He has blocked access, in the United States and in Kenya, to all his documents,3 even the ones dealing with his public life, from his birth certificate to the list of small donors to his campaign, including his student records at Harvard and Columbia, which are at the same time invoked as definitive evidence of his towering intellectual gifts, denied only, it is clear, by stubborn racists. The media deems an insult and a sick presumption any attempt to examine these papers, and three courts, from Pennsylvania, Washington, and Ohio, have already ruled that the common citizen has no right to question even the nationality of Barack Hussein Obama. One must trust his word or take leave of decent society.
But his words do not elucidate anything. He has already made up so many phony stories about his life (that he was a member of the Senate Banking Committee, that his uncle liberated Auschwitz, that his father was a goat shepherd), he has already omitted so much essential data, (that he was a member of a Socialist party, that the genocidal Raila Odinga is his cousin, that he campaigned for Odinga in Kenya, that his brother is starving in a slum in Mombasa, that his aunt is an illegal alien in the United States), and he has concealed is such a way his connections with ACORN and with terrorist William Ayers, Islamic agitator Louis Farrakhan, and the crook Tony Rezko, etc.—that to try to uncover his true biography is almost an impossible mission. His own book of memories, which won him literary fame, is of dubious authorship. Computerized tests in an authorship investigation concluded that the book was not written by Obama, but by William Ayers.
As a last resort, one can try to find something about Obama through witnesses. It is interesting what they tell. The grandmother says that he was born in Kenya and not in Hawaii, as he claims. His Kenyan brothers say that he is a Muslim and not a Christian as he claims. His sister says that he was born in one hospital, while he claims to have been born in another one. The sponsor of his studies in Harvard says that the money was provided by a well-known pro-terrorism agitator. Old friends say that he was always with Frank Marshall Davis when Davis was selling cocaine. Up to now, the only witness to be seriously disproved was a nutcase from Minnesota who said he had sexual relations with then Senator Barack Obama—which, if true, would not raise a shred of the risk to national security contained in the other depositions.
At this point, you may ask, “But why will voters trust the word of someone who has no credibility, whose birthplace is not known for certain, who hides two-thirds of his life and lies about the other third, who is loved by all those who hate the United States and clumsily conceals his affections for their friends?” In Brazil you can ask that, but if you are in the United States, ask it in a whisper. If you dare to display your suspicions in a very audible way, the government will investigate your records, in search of heinous crimes such as tax dues and unpaid traffic tickets, as it did to Joe the Plumber. Or it will send you to jail, as it did to Brent Garner, from Lawrence, Kansas. You also run the risk of having your garage vandalized4 or of being beaten, as happened to some Republican activists.5
The answer to the question on the motives of such groundless trust comprises four elements:
1. The big media, almost entirely owned by Obama's supporters and sponsors, does not publish anything grievous that is known about him, but makes an awful uproar about the slightest trivia that may hurt the image of his adversaries.6 The double standard, which began in newspapers and TV, ended up permeating all of whole society as a normal habit. Example I: A hanged dummy of Sarah Palin was greeted by the police itself as an innocent and good-humored prank. In the following day, two kids manufactured a dummy of a hanged Obama—and they were arrested. Example II: The young Republican activist Ashley Todd, after claiming to have been robbed, spanked, and cut with a razor with a letter “B” on her right cheek as soon as her attacker noticed her McCain campaign button, suffered a barrage of insults from the media, and very quickly changed her mind and swore that she had made up the whole story. Ashley did not explain whether she had only been robbed and spanked, and made herself the cut on her face, or if there was only spanking, with no robbery or cuts, or if nothing at all happened, and she hit herself until she got a black eye and, not satisfied with the result, proceeded to carve a “B” on her own face. Even though her brief and inconsistent recantation sounded much more unbelievable than the original story, it was promptly accepted as final truth by the whole media. No more questions were asked, and it was thus proved that Republicans are mean enough to disfigure their own face only to lay the blame on a black man and, indirectly, on the most holy Barack Obama. Example III: Signs of violence against the Obama campaign had been missing, but were soon delivered. Two young skinheads who entertained thoughts of shooting Obama, without taking any action to that purpose, were denounced by their own mother. Even though it is virtually impossible to find a single skinhead in Evangelical assemblies, Catholic masses, Republican conventions, or at the Hudson Institute or Heritage Foundation, the fact is: if you wish to be considered Homo sapiens instead of a Pithecanthropus erectus, you must swear that the plan of those two idiots provides ultimate proof that the American conservative movement is racist, Nazist, and murderous by nature.
2. American society believes in the big media because it is not capable of imagining a general and systematic scam like the one that took place in Brazil when all newspapers and TV stations concealed on purpose, for sixteen years, the existence of the São Paulo Forum, the largest enterprise of political delinquency that ever existed in Latin America. As in the title of the famous Sinclair Lewis’s novel, everybody believes that It Can't Happen Here. Well, it happened.
3. Whatever one says against Obama meets an automatic response: it is racism. Racial blackmailing is so violent, generalized and systematic that the simple fact of saying that there is racial blackmailing proves that you are a racist. Therefore, the monopoly of verbal violence remains with the Democrats, while Obama's critics retreat behind self-limiting innuendos.
4. What Obama says does not make sense. His speeches, when not totally devoid of content, unceremoniously contradict themselves, and that is exactly why they work so well. Their content has no importance at all. It is just a filler for the active substance, which is constituted of magic appeals and hypnotic messages, in such a way that after a few minutes everyone's intelligence is numbed to the point of accepting, without the least critical reaction, statements such as: “You will see a light shining from above. You will experience an epiphany and an inner voice will tell you: ‘I must vote for Barack Obama’.” If he proclaimed this by spontaneous faith, he would be called a madman. But as he says it in the best style of Ericksonian Neuro-Linguistic Programming, people will vote for him for president of the most powerful nation in the world.
The combined effects of these four factors are almost miracles of faith, of an atrocious surrealistic character: polls show that three out of four Americans who live in Israel prefer John McCain, but three out of every four Jews residing in the United States, away from Palestinian bombs and close to a TV tuned to CNN, prefer Obama.7

"Last Saturday, my son Pedro and a friend of his were verbally abused and threatened with physical aggression by a group of more than twenty Obamaniacs."
Yeah I remember this one. It sounds like the Asley Todd story. If you remember she was the McCain campaign worker who was arrested for lying about being attacked by an imaginary "large black" Obama supporter. Every investigated attack story out there has been proven to be patently false. Republicans are so desperate. Below I'll post the Todd Story so we can realize these are all lies.
Woman admits making up McCain sticker attack, police say...
(CNN) -- Bail was set at $50,000 Friday night for a GOP campaign worker who made up a story about being attacked by a man angered by a John McCain bumper sticker on her car.
Ashley Todd, 20, of College Station, Texas, has been charged with filing a false police report, a misdemeanor, a police report said.
Todd, who is being held at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, did not enter a plea when she appeared in court Friday night. She did not post bail.
She is scheduled to appear in court again October 30, when she is expected to enter a plea.
If she posts bail, Todd must be evaluated at a behavioral clinic.
"This has wasted so much time. ... It's just a lot of wasted man hours," Assistant Police Chief Maurita Bryant said at a briefing.
Todd was a volunteer for a John McCain phone bank in Pittsburgh, the campaign said.
The woman told investigators a man approached her Wednesday night at an ATM in Pittsburgh's East End, put a blade to her neck and demanded money, said Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard.
Police said they found "several inconsistencies" in Todd's statement and she was not seen in surveillance videos taken at the ATM. She was asked to take a polygraph test Friday morning, Richard said. The results were not made public.
Later, Todd came to the police station to help work on a composite sketch of the alleged attacker. When she arrived, Todd "told them she just wanted to tell the truth" -- that she was not robbed, and there was no attacker, Bryant said.
Todd originally told police a man "punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, and he continued to punch and kick her while threatening to teach her a lesson for being a McCain supporter," according to a police statement.
The woman also told police her attacker "called her a lot of names and stated that 'You are going to be a Barack supporter,' at which time she states he sat on her chest, pinning both her hands down with his knees, and scratched into her face a backward letter 'B' on the right side of her face using what she believed to be a very dull knife."
Bryant described Todd as "very cordial, polite, cooperating," and said the woman was surprised by all the media attention. Asked whether the false report was politically motivated, Bryant replied, "It's difficult to say."
"She is stating that she was in her vehicle driving around, and she came up with this idea," she said. "She said she has prior mental problems and doesn't know how the backward letter 'B' got on her face."
However, Todd was the only one in the vehicle, and "when she saw the 'B' she thought she must have been the one who did it," Bryant said.
"We're talking with the district attorney's office and conferring on just how we're going to handle it," she said. "It's been different stories through the night and this morning."
She said there was no indication that anyone else was involved.
Richard said the woman had described her alleged attacker as an African-American, 6 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build and short dark hair, wearing dark clothing and shiny shoes.
Before the revelation that the report was false, McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker said that McCain and running mate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin "spoke to the victim and her family after learning about the incident."
The Obama campaign also had issued a statement wishing the woman a "speedy recovery."

Have I forgotten mentioning something? Oh, yes! Liberal American Blacks are incredibly corrupt and liars, especially their religious leaders. Well, but this is normal for any left-winger, whether he is white, black, pink, blue...
If Jeremiah Wright, the former minister of Obama during 20 years, cannot be accused of racism and hatred, then NO minister of the state Lutheran church in Nazi Germany can. I repeat: the worst racism in the modern society is found among leftist American Blacks.

Julio,
Thank you very much for your last statement. When idiots are pressed their true colors always show.
Here’s my guess: the real reason you have such a hard time stomaching Obama’s earned achievements, is because you personally have achieved very little in life. Initially, you had high hopes and expectations of great success, but along the way you somehow fell short. You suffered setback, loss, or failure and eventually your dreams were flattened. Now that depression and bitterness have long set in you’re looking for a target, and who better than Obama, or anyone else your hatred marks.
It is usually the unaccomplished or the lacking in healthy self-esteem that grandstand as you do. My humble advice is to go out and accomplish something of significance in life, so you don't have to wallow in under achievement, immaturity, or self-pity. Personal achievement will feel much better than incessantly blogging about phony conspiracy theories and nonsense smears.

Obama Revokes Abortion Funding Policy, Will Fund Overseas Abortions with Taxpayer Money
By John Jalsevac
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 23, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – One day after the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, President Obama has signed an order to lift the Mexico City policy, a Reagan-era policy that prohibits taxpayer funds from going to organizations that promote or perform abortions overseas.
Population Action International, a pro-abortion group, praised Obama's decision, saying in a statement that it will "save women's lives around the world."
"Women's health has been severely impacted by the cutoff of assistance," said the group. "President Obama's actions will help reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, abortions and women dying from high-risk pregnancies because they don't have access to family planning."
Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelse, however, strongly criticized Obama's move, saying: "America should respond to women's needs in developing countries with real assistance that also upholds their dignity, not by promoting or paying for abortions. I am disappointed by President Obama’s decision to bypass the will of American taxpayers and promote the radical agenda of Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby."
It was widely anticipated that Obama would sign the executive order yesterday, on the 36th anniversary of Roe. In 1993 former president Bill Clinton had revoked the policy on that day, while George Bush reinstated the policy on his first day in office in 2001, the day before the Roe anniversary.
Instead of signing the order yesterday, however, Obama instead issued a statement defending Roe, while speaking of the need to find “common ground” in the “divisive” and "sensitive" abortion debate.
In yesterday’s statement Obama explained, “I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose.” Nevertheless, he said, “we must work to find common ground to expand access to affordable contraception, accurate health information, and preventative services.”
While the decision not to revoke the policy yesterday was cautiously interpreted by some as evidence that Obama may not be as extreme on abortion as he has promised to be, and would not force taxpayers to pay for abortions, pro-life and pro-abortion organizations did not have to wait long for Obama to prove his solidly pro-abortion credentials.
"President Obama not long ago told the American people that he would support policies to reduce abortions, but today he is effectively guaranteeing more abortions by funding groups that promote abortion as a method of population control," said Douglas Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee.
The Mexico City policy was considered by many to be one of the most effective pro-life policies of the Bush and Reagan administrations. International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), one of the most pro-abortion organizations in the world, told the BBC today that under the Bush administration, thanks to the Mexico City Policy, the organisation had lost more than $100m (£73m) in funding.

Dear false friend
I am sure that if you were living in the Eliah's time, seeing him speaking against the wickedness of Ahab, you would use against him the same words and the same logic.
Well, Paul would have some interesting things to say to the Obama supporters:
"It is like one of their own prophets once said, "The people of Crete always tell lies. They are greedy and lazy like wild animals." That surely is a true saying. And you should be hard on such people, so you can help them grow stronger in their faith".
(Tit 1:12-13 CEV)
Elijah should come to America! He would be very hard on a man. Would he accused of racism for his stand against Ahab-Obama?
Paul should come to America! He would be very hard on a group of people. Would he accused of racism for having agreed that an entire group of people are liars and greedy?
Well, I praise God for the courage of Elijah and Paul!
America needs some surprises from God.

Yes my friend, it is foolish men like you who attempt to use the Holy Scriptures to justify their poor behavior and lack of character development. Now that I see your mind is twisted in corruption and you feel God is endorsing your loathsome views, I realize there is no reaching you. This will be my last post.
I once knew a man of low character much like you. He would use Ecclesiastes 9:10 “whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might,” as a justification for his addiction to masturbation.
This is exactly the kind of man you are. You should take some time off from blogging and spend it in personal reflection and prayer. Adios!

Just from reading all these posts it seems like Julio is trying to use the Bible to mask his hatred of other groups. If memory serves me correctly isn’t Brazil famous for harboring dozens of Nazi war criminals including Josef Mengele the infamous “Angel of Death” from the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz? Given that Brazil would harbor Nazis I think it’s clear where Julio’s hatred comes from.
If the Bible were written today maybe it would say:
"It is like some of their own leaders say, "The people of Brazil always tell lies. Brazilians are greedy and lazy like wild animals." That surely is a true saying. And you should be hard on such people, so you can help them grow stronger in their faith" (Modern World Translation)
I’ll be praying for your salvation Julio, so maybe one day you’ll meet Jesus and give your heart to Him! Jesus, touch Julio all the way over in Brazil!

Anon, no problem if Paul was Black or red. The important thing is that he was in fire for God.
Yes, Jason, it is a tragedy that Mengele was hidden in Brazil. But remember: He was hidden. He was not free to promote his criminal ideas. Yet, American Margaret Sanger, who promoted eugenics, abortion and birth control, had close ties to Nazi officials from Germany. She was free to promote her criminal ideas in America, even using Black ministers. She did not need to be hidden. Why? Her ideas were welcome. I should remind you that Obama signed order yesterday to fund abortion organizations internationally. IPPF, the organization founded by racist Sanger, will receive millions of dollars to promote abortion in other nations, including my country. See: http://www.ippf.org/en/News/Press-releases/President+Barack+Obama+rescinds+the+Global+Gag+Rule.htm
See now what Sanger said, “We should hire 3 or 4 colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population”. http://www.physiciansforlife.org/content/view/1619/26/
As you can see, Sanger continues using Black leaders event today!
An intelligent people would have repudiated such woman, a friend of Nazis. Mengele had No opportunity to promote his crimes in Brazil. Not so with Sanger in America!
In fact, did you know that the eugenic movement was much more advanced in America than Germany in the 1920s and 1930s?
Jason, if you voted for Obama, you are not converted. And if you are not converted, how will you be able to pray for the conversion of others?
There is in Brazil a large Jewish population. By the way, Mengele could not exterminate us, because I am a descendant of Jews too.

IPPF is very supportive of the new racism prevalent among leftist American Blacks, including ministers. Without it, the dreams of Sanger would never become reality. Without it, Obama would have a hard time to conquer the US presidency to promote abortion. Racism is indeed loathsome!!!

Mr. Strang, thank you for the opportunity to discuss in this forum. I am disgusted that Americans are so foolish to celebrate a pro-abortion and pro-sodomy individual just because he is Black. I would never celebrate a Brazilian president just because he is white. This would be racism. In fact, Lula is white and as wicked as Obama!!! Yet, Black ministers committed this heinous sin by supporting Obama! This is disgusting! I repeat here Titus 1:12-13. Sorry for the hard words in the forum. I needed to use them.

You're not Jewish. Stop telling lies. I'm actually Jewish and on my mother's side. My grandfather was also a Civil Rights lawyer. The Sages of blessed memory say you can recognize a Jew by three distinct character traits, and you have displayed none. Can you guess what they are? I don't believe you're Jewish for a second. Nothing but lies!
But if you actually do have Jewish lineage, it's probably on your father's side which would make you no more Jewish than Ishmael. I hope to God you're not Jewish because if you are, as the timeless saying goes: you are one of the reasons the nations blaspheme Hashem daily.

You are truly showing your ignorance by writing what you wrote
...if you are indeed an American citizen and were educated in our schools whether private or public
...people's names are "proper
nouns" and should be capitalized...
you only chose to capitalize Bush's name...you didn't even have the decency to capitalize the name of God...I have this to say to you... "I would rather live my life
as if there were a God, die and find out there isn't, then to live my life as if there were no God, die and find out there is." You need a Spiritual checkup from the neck up, in JESUS name.
